Petraeus 'flew mistress to Paris for a trip that was funded by the government'
Daily Mail UK ^

Posted on 11/11/2012 9:08:08 PM PST by Arthurio

David Petreaus took his mistress with him on a government funded trip to Paris after he was named director of the Central Intelligence Agency, according to news reports. Petraeus made the trip with 40-year-old Paula Broadwell, who has written a fawning biography of him, in July 2011, an unnamed source told Buzzfeed. Petraus was heading to his new job as chief of the CIA at the time. Sixteen months later, the four-star general has resigned from his post after his affair with Broadwell was uncovered by the FBI.

Why it is just amazing how much is known in a couple of days after resigning. Think what we might learn if Obama resigned tomorrow? Now how long did it take the FBI to get to Benghazi? Priorities priorities priorities....

They are trying to destroy him to the point that anything he reveals will be lost in the rubble of his career.

Not that he isn't a scumbag in his own right, but the Administration is blowing up the rubble at this point.

Partners, they look like partners.

She hangs in for the ride to the White House and he does whatever he wants.

Business.

Yes, we are all simply fascinated with Gen Patreaus’ sex life, as it takes attn. away from the issues surrounding Benghazi.

And, conveniently, for a nation of folks whose women are mostly doped up, and I mean dopey, on birth control pills and whose males are doped up on porn and sports, they will read this as exoneration and they will take away the message that Benghazi is in the past and their own behavior is forgiven.

If you think our hired (elected and paid for by our tax $s) are working for us, protecting the Constitution, look at it again. scrub yourself away from the TV. Quit expecting your SPOUSE to do the job and do something.

Go to confession

Go to Mass.

Go to services.

Compare what you are getting there to the horrible commercials you are getting in your living room on national sports and think again.

Write a letter to Lindsay dopey Graham and let these people know that yo are watching them and then tell your colleagues around the water cooler, teacher’s lounge happy hour bar, that they need to be aware of the Constitution. It’s available through any google search an/or on Heritage Foundation website.

Find out about Benghazi 0 the ambassador was killed.

He is the equivalant of a 4 star General. Even that we don’t give a rats a$$, our enemies do. They get it. There is no glossing over this.

Our wimpy response (the enemy doesn’t have any more of an idea that we don’t agree with Obama than we give a crap about the misery and complete destituteness going on in Staten Island) is obvious to them, as we whine over our election.

Why it is already known the General used tax dollars to tour the romantic sights. I can't wait to read about where else these two love birds frolicked. Meanwhile, Obama and Clinton are sheltered off as if they are victims of a love sick general.

Caesar Petraeus during his triumph had no one to whisper in his ear “You are just man...just a man”. Instead he found Agrippina who whispered sweet nothings in his ear and fed him sweet dates from the hem of her form-fitting stola.

Such is the temptation of power.

So is the point here that General Petraeus was being a bad boy at 3:30pm on 9/11/2012? Or is this a distraction?

It was apparently not an issue until Benghazi.

Well it is partial sarcasm. September 11, 2012, before any Muslim ever spontaneously gathered, our government was apologizing for some faked video. Before that day was over 4 Americans were murdered. And the top leadership of this nation attempted to blame a fake video as the reason.

Today we are two months out from the deaths of 4 Americans, and the top leadership is still refusing to explain why they did nothing to protect Americans they sent to work for US.

So Congress is having hearings supposedly to get answers and lo and behold on Friday before the Director of the CIA resigns because he is whoring around with another man's wife. Two days out from this resignation we already know the frisky general took his 'secret' on tax payers dime to tour Paris.

Strange how easy information flows when the holders of said information decide it is time to dump.

= = = = =

BECAUSE, testimony is discussed before it’s given, and it’s likely the WH didn’t like Gen. P’s.

It’s highly likely he wasn’t about to commit perjury.

I use the term “Colin Powell Republicans” to describe those “Republicans” who are easily swayed by Obama doing something that appears Hawkish and accomodating to centrist/moderates, like Colin Powell, and I think Petraeus was brought in to get their votes.

I just finished watching The Men Who Built America on the HIstory channel. These mean became like royalty but at least they created something to get there and they risked everything and had to be smart + lucky to make it happen.

The whole thing has totally flip flopped. Those who create nothing now live like royalty off those those who do create and work their butts off. At least Rockefeller, Morgan, Carnegie, Ford, Edison etc were governed by the normal of laws of economics and couldn’t just print money like our current a-holes.

When does the revolution start?

This is a red herring. See origin of term.

This red herring was of Petraeus own making. What is not known is if he was 'blackmailed' because of it to do Obama's bidding. Conveniently now Petraeus's red herring allows him to sneak out of testifying about what really did happen in Benghazi. Not every one reads these avalanche of reports of Petraeus's red herring to find out the salacious details of some idiot's sex life.

Panetta flies home on our dime every other weekend (sure he kicks in a jokes amount of money). I think Bush traveled home too much and Obama and Michelle have been friggin’ unbelievable!

The cost of the state dinners?! Outrageous! I’m tired and can’t think of them all but there are so many examples of this and it makes me sick.
