1.) Are you HIDING INFORMATION from the US Congress about the Benghazi Massacre?

2.) Have you been LYING to the US Congress, The Media, or the American Public about the Benghazi Massacre?

3.) Were you, as Commander in Chief, GROSSLY NEGLIGENT in your responsibilities to protect and assist those four Americans who subsequently were murdered in the Benghazi Massacre?

And more recently, President Obama threatens that if he cannot get the congress to move, he will find ways to go around it. He will rule by executive order and do whatever it takes to get around the congress that stands in his way of correcting the wrongs in the constitution.

But NO president can lawfully be elected to correct the "wrongs" he personally sees in the Constitution. He is elected to discharge his Constitutional Oath of Office:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of the President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

The powers of Office of the President of the United States which he must "faithfully execute" are defined at Article II, Section 2.

When our gangsta president took his Oath, we was lying to us. He breaches that Oath every day he draws breath, which any person not asleep in dreamland can see for himself. In particular, he has unconstitutionally usurped and assumed to himself the powers of Congress — see his end run around the stalled Dream Act by means of Executive Order.

To my mind, this alone is an impeachable offense.

What really gripes me is that our system of government is premised firstly and totally on the Consent of the Governed:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed....

When, if ever, are We the People going to rescind our Consent for this malicious, corrupt government? And by the way, what would cause us to do that, and in what fashion would we do that?

Can't say I know the answers to these questions; but I do know this — whether or not they realize it, We the People are being systematically, deliberately looted by the federal government, "under the color of law." I figure the point will be reached some time sooner or later, when middle-class Americans finally begin to feel the pinch.

See, they've been reassured that this president has tender concern for "the middle class." Indeed, he claims to be their chief defender against the depredations of "the wealthy."

But what they haven't figured out yet is that 0bama WANTS to go over the fiscal cliff, and he thinks he can get away with it by blaming House Republicans. So I fully expect we will go over the fiscal cliff. Indeed, I do believe we've already fallen off it.

My expectation is that on January 1st, 2013, 100% of Americans will see their income tax rates rise. Just another way to pick the pockets of the "middle class" — after all, that's where all the real "loot" is, by virtue of sheer numbers....

But maybe the dreamers won't notice this, or care much — as long as they believe "the wealthy" are finally paying their "fair share." [Good grief, when the top 2% of all wage earners are already paying for over 40% of annual federal expenditures, how much more can you expect to get out of them? What exactly does "tax equity" mean, or even "fair share" — not to mention what the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment could possibly mean — under such circumstances?]

But maybe this will wake up the sleep-walkers: The federal government has certainly noticed the $18 trillion in private retirement assets of the people of the United States — 401(k)s, IRAs, private annuities, etc., etc. They are already salivating to get a piece of that action by, e.g., forcing us to convert part or maybe even all of our holdings into — guess what??? — federal government bonds. Stay tuned....

Taking a longer view, the federal government has been despoiling its citizens for multi-decades by now. But I have to say the actions of the last two Fed chairmen have done more to impoverish American citizens than the actions of any other governmental official in history, including FDR.

Bernanke is printing money in the trillions of face amount with which to buy-in government bonds/mortgage-backed securities. This has caused interest rates to be artificially low, less than the rate of inflation. Thus citizens' private capital — and its future purchasing power — is being inexorably eroded: They are losing their wealth as a matter of federal policy.

Plus all that new cheap money is propping up what is likely to be a 'way overvalued stock market, given its more immediate financial and economic prospects (which was helpful to 0bama's reelection).

Plus folks who are "fixed income investors" — mainly senior citizens — find they can't pay their monthly bills out of the teensy yields they get on bank instruments like CDs. So what do they do? They "chase yields" on riskier investments, such as "junk" bonds. I have read that there is a huge "bubble" in junk bonds just about to burst. When it does, these poor folks are going to lose, not only their income streams, but their capital as well.

It's a perfect storm of cynicism on the Administration's part.... They know exactly what they're doing; they just don't want you to know.

And so far, most of us remain totally clueless.

Maybe We the People have to experience massive, widespread economic pain before we wake from our delightful slumbers and face the actual Reality that this ersatz president has quite deliberately, consciously prepared for us.

And then, maybe we can figure out how to withdraw our Consent to this government. Evidently, political elections and public opinion polls cannot be fair representations of "consent": Electoral fraud was rampant in this last election; and public opinion polls can be designed to elicit whatever response the pollster hopes to hear.

I doubt political parties are any help here. We the People are facing existential threats, but the politicoes are just worried about getting elected staying in office, by hook or by crook.

Well said.

I doubt political parties are any help here.

We are past what politics alone can fix. I haven't seen any politicians who understand how we got here well enough to understand the way out. If they do, they haven't the courage to say so out loud, and if they do, they can't get reelected. Because in the end people get approximately the government they deserve, sad to say.

We can survive corrupt governments but we can't survive a corrupted electorate.

Amen to that, dear marron, brother in Christ!

AMEN!!! for that's the simple Truth: We the People ourselves have become corrupt. That's why we say nothing when our God-given liberties are systematically stripped away from us, a supposedly free people. We figure this sort of thing only happens to "the other guy," only to find out later that ALL of us are in the target zone of a rapacious, malignant, illegitimate government. Meanwhile, we make nary a peep!

On the other hand, the one thing government cannot take away from us is the Truth. And it happens that only Truth can set us free.

Certainly, 0bama's Chicago Way, gangsta style "community organizing" is only putting us in chains. He is "the Community-Organizer-in-Chief" — which is not a defined power of his office, according to Article II, Section 2.

Jeepers, I wasn't even aware that We the People were in need of "community organizing." Until recently, E Pluribus Unum was all the understanding we needed to function as a mainly peaceable, prosperous, extraordinarily creative society. Historically, Americans have gotten along quite well, thank you, simply by basically ignoring "what their neighbors are doing." IOW, "Different strokes for different folks" was a workable mechanism of public peace.

Nowadays, you can't turn around without finding someone screaming in your face about what's "wrong" with you — because you don't buy into the accepted sociopolitical pieties, you must be a really bad person who needs to be restrained and/or remediated....

Hardly looks like a good prescription for maintaining the public peace. But then, 0bama isn't interested in the public peace. His goals are best met by fomenting conflict, promulgating the politics of division, of uncertainty, ultimately resulting in social chaos and economic breakdown.

Not very cheering thoughts. Oh, well....

I have to say, I have been addicted to politics all my life until now. Only God can restore this nation.

We are living an Old Testament pattern, albeit with Ipads and business casual dress. Turn away from God, you lose your country. Turn back to God and you see your country restored.

Politics can't fix what ails us. It can only muddy the water at this point.

I do see a lot that makes me hopeful, even cheerful, but none of it in the political realm.
