MIAMI — A claim that nearly half of Cuban-American voters favored President Barack Obama continued under dispute Monday, with one side claiming it had new evidence that it was true and the other insisting it was false.
Florida International University professors Dario Moreno and Kevin Hill reported Monday their analysis of tallies from selected precincts in Miami-Dade County, Fla., indicated GOP candidate Mitt Romney won up to 59 percent of the Cuban vote.

I really hate it when we break down politics into race and gender. Where is the appeal to Americans and what is best for the country? When that is gone, we are lost. That was shown with this last election and it seem to be destined to get worse.
That’s apparently gone considering Republicans are now all too eager now to cater to race politics (shamnesty, etc).
It seems that the browner/blacker the skin, the less they trust anyone lighter than themselves.

Which is why Romney should have picked Rubio for Veep. Ryan would have been good in his cabinet. Rubio would have brought in many more young minority voters.

I’m not so sure. Rubio is a Cuban hispanic, not Mexican or South American. They aren’t so keen on Cubans, too white and not particularly liked by the rest of hispanics.
The younger Cubans never got a taste of Fidel’s rules. Send ‘em there for a few years!
Younger Cubans vote just like younger whites - Democrat. They’ve been brainwashed in the same leftist educational system. This is what happens when you cede the educational establishment to the left.
