Not long after the couple arrived in Tampa, Jill Kelley and her identical twin sister, Natalie Khawam, appeared for a taping of the Food Network's reality show, Food Fight.
The segment featured sibling rivalry, with the twins cooking off against two brothers.
A food show, though, was not out of the realm for the sisters.
Growing up in Philadelphia, the sisters were among four children of a couple who had immigrated from Jounieh, Lebanon, in the mid 1970s. The family owned a Middle Eastern restaurant in Philadelphia called Sahara.
The year after the sisters appeared for the show's taping, the Kelleys moved in the Bayshore Boulevard home they had bought for about $1.5 million, property records show.
....... As news of her role in the Petraeus scandal broke Sunday, Jill Kelley was throwing a birthday party for one of her daughters. A media crush waited at the curb. A sole local TV crew remained Monday morning.
By then, the Kelleys had turned to national experts for help.
They hired Abbe Lowell, a Washington lawyer who has represented clients such as former presidential candidate John Edwards and lobbyist Jack Abramoff. And the couple are employing crisis PR person Judy Smith, who has represented big names like Monica Lewinsky, Michael Vick and Kobe Bryant.

That FBI agent, who has not been identified, has also come under scrutiny after it was discovered he had sent shirtless photographs of himself to Kelley, but “long before” this investigation, a law enforcement official told Reuters. The photographs were first reported by the Wall Street Journal.
The agent had never been on the Broadwell case, but had taken the information about the emails to the FBI cyber squad in Tampa, the law enforcement official said.
The FBI agent who works in the Tampa office apparently became frustrated at the pace of the investigation and complained to a member of Congress about it, the official said.
Meanwhile, the birth certificate, the school records and those of some incredulous associates cannot be found. Right.

“Top US commander in Afghanistan Gen John Allen is being investigated for allegedly sending “inappropriate emails” to a woman at the centre of a scandal ending the career of CIA head Gen David Petraeus, officials say.”
“A senior Pentagon official said up to 30,000 pages of emails and other documents from Gen Allen’s communications with Mrs Kelley between 2010 and 2012 were under review.”

Fox & Friends explained it as follows: Jill Kelley was friends with an FBI agent. He is the one who sent her the shirtless photo of himself. She went to him as a friend about allegedly receiving threatening emails. HE was the whistleblower because he went to a senator in Washington who informed Eric Cantor.
(I'm just reporting what I heard on the television this morning. I have not analyzed the info nor do I have an opinion about it.)

That reminds me of a story.
The old ladies of my former church formed a little dinner club, and they used to go to a different ethnic restaurant every week. One of the restaurants they visited was a Lebanese eatery near the church.
They were sitting around together reminiscing one day, when one of the oldest ladies said, “We visited some nice restaurants, but the best time we had was at that lesbian place on Baum Boulevard.”

I was driving my daughters home from grade school when we passed by an orange VW van parked in someone's side yard with a for sale sign on it. They aren't too common a sight, and for my daughters the only other time they had seen one was in the movie Back to the Future. My older daughter said "Look! A lesbian terrorist vehicle!" We have called them that ever since.

According to Paula Broadwell’s father, there is much much more to this story than an affair and emails:
“But Broadwell’s father said Sunday his daughter is the victim of character assassination and implied the bombshell story is just a smoke screen for something bigger.
“This is about something else entirely, and the truth will come out,” Broadwell’s dad, Paul Krantz, told the Daily News outside his home in Bismarck, N.D.
“There is a lot more that is going to come out,” said Krantz, claiming he was not allowed to elaborate. “You wait and see. There’s a lot more here than meets the eye.”

Of course you can’t take it on face value because he could just be trying to deflect in defence of his daughter. But this is the first indication that there is some substance to the speculation we’ve been seeing on Fox and FreeRepublic about this being something far more insidious than just an affair by a horny old general. There is enough information in that statement that Broadwell’s father should be given a subpoena. Put up or shut up.
Okay, so we got General Allen and the shirtless, unnamed FBI agent. And Jill Kelley likes to pal around with general officers. Anybody think she’s a security risk?
