My guess is none of the males were homosexuals and then had no chance of winning

To the left, that is really diverse. In the muddle that passes for a leftist mind, diverse means anything but White, male, Christian, heterosexual.
Diversity, affirmative action, hate crime laws are just different ways of shoving White Christian heterosexual males into the role of second class citizens.
