Norinco made a Model, “M” that took stock AK mags. They’re about the priciest SKSs around.
I looked into converting one in the early 1990s, but the whole 922(r) thing got into the way. I’ve seen some conversions that use the tabbed/duckbilled mags, but none ran nearly as well as the AK conversions.
