Our Constitutional Republic died a peaceful death on November 6, 2012. Having reached the point of no return in a comatose state after years of progressive and illegal immigration assaults, the fabric of conservative society is now completely unraveled and Uncle Sam’s America is no more.
The United States of America is now relegated to the dust bin of history as a “has been” empire. The Shining City on the Hill, the hope of so many millions since July 4, 1776, no longer exists. What rises from the ashes is a country that few of us will recognize, like, or learn to accept submissively.
After 236 years of existence, a new country emerges today, run by secular progressives who rejected our Constitution, what we stand for, and who we are as a nation. The Supreme Court will be forever altered after its last conservative members will be replaced by the liberal academics who call themselves “progressives.” The rule of law will be implemented by Executive Orders, making Congress irrelevant.

She does sum it up rather neatly, but her article was entitled “End of an Empire,” not “End of a Constitutional Republic,” as you said.
I like your title better (and wish it was true), but many of our problems have stemmed from this country’s foray into empire building. When Rome went from a republic to an empire, along with the advent of the Caesars, things started going very poorly for them, as everyone wants to defeat an empire.
Will we have a Caesar? Who will be our first Caesar?

Actually, I think it died around 1861, or so. Nice of her to catch up, though.
I think the GOP suffered a wound on Nov 6th. We died on Nov 7th, when 1/3 of Republicans said nothing needs to change, 1/3 of Republicans said we all need to be liberals, and 1/3 said, “Screw it, I’m checking out.” And I can’t say I blame them; I’ve felt all those ways at one point or another.
You just gave me a great idea for a painting. Uncle Sam is lying in a modern hospital bed on life support. Obama is turning it off, behind him snakes an ever shrinking in size line of villains: a Red Chinese, illegal and ghetto minorities, a Supreme Court justice, a slick politician... on and on down to a rat.

I am not conceding to death. Too many good people have died and given up their own comforts, so that I had a fighting chance.
I am fighting back, every way I can think of. First of all my building my base of knowledge and understanding of what we are looking at- and then getting prepared for a disaster. A real, emotional, financial and spiritual disaster.
I hope to get ready to help my family and myself, and the community of like minded people, that I am slowly building from different resources. I am not giving up.
I plan to walk out of this mess with my freedom and with a bright future for my children.
Don’t you give up either. :)
