The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 55% of Likely Voters at least somewhat approve of President Obama's job performance. Forty-four percent (44%) at least somewhat disapprove.
The presidents overall approval rating is up seven points from a year ago and is his highest since late June 2009 (see trends).
Ninety-four percent (94%) of Democrats approve, while 82% of Republicans disapprove. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 46% approve and 51% disapprove.

Rasmussen is toast now, he’s so scared of under reporting Obama’s popularity that we’ll see 70,80,90 per cent approvals I”m sure.....
I wonder how many of those who “approve” of the Kenyan’s job performance are getting free Govt treats..wow this country is screwed..2008 was no fluke this country has changed and NOT for the better
The Got durn elections are over, quit with the friggin polls.
ENOUGH ENOUGH
Rasmussen——————Blow it out your rear.
At this rate of increase in approval, in just a few months he will be at 100% job approval, including everyone at FR//sarc
That 55% is the communists and freeloaders. That percent are no longer a proud people but no better than those like Greece or France. They have joined the garbage pile of humans. They have sold America out and in a few years will have nothing like the rest of us when the free stuff stops and forgot how to work for their keep.
Are these the lemmings “comin home to roost”?
Oh stop... He’s just reporting what he’s seeing. I’m all polled out at this point but the 82% disapproval from Republicans is kind of low but may be that post-election fatigue setting in.
But I’m sure this will continue to rise right through inauguration and then taper off. Only a downturn in the economy over Xmas will change that.
I`m not sure about that. Americans, being the sheep-like followers they are, are back in love with 0bama because it`s the fashionable thing. Plus, they`re getting leg tingles at thew prospect of getting some government money.
Like Rush said, Santa Claus wins every time.
The sheeple appear to be getting fed quite well by the Obama Pravda Machine.
Why? He still hasn't done anything FOR America (but the jihadists in the middle east are doing excellent!).
The unemployment numbers don't come out until Thursday. So, so far nothing has changed (except those in the NE are still freezing and starving to death.)
There's a lot of dumb people in America these days. The worst is yet to come, and these people are so blinded by fab TV, they can't even see it coming. When they get kicked in the head, and they're going to wonder how the heck it happened.
I think Rasmussen is correct. As a nation we are now beyond redeemable or so it seems. Our RINO leaders let us down.
I propose that all future poll posts go into a new seperate forum so they can more easily be ignored.
This is just a natural election bump. We need to avoid worrying about polling for a couple weeks until we get back into the normal day to combat in DC. Frankly, we probably should ignore polling for a few months when we get into more substantial policy discussions in 2013 and start preparing for the mid-terms.
Are these the lemmings comin home to roost?
Yep,
Here they are standing in line to vote

I believe that this is an accurate reflection of what’s going on in the country right now. Obama’s been elected, and most people want to believe that that’s a good thing. They certainly don’t want to accept reality - that the best case scenario right now is that the US is in for a world of hurt. They are clinging to hope because it’s all they have and they are afraid of the alternative. When the market meltdown begins, they are paying $10 per gallon, and all the “benefits” of socialized medicine kick in, this is going to turn around. Ma and Pa America won’t look in the mirror and blame themselves for voting the Obama creature into office. They will blame him. It will be too little too late, but there will be some satisfaction in seeing the Kenyan trying to blame Bush while the country turns on him.
I wonder if anyone who gives Obama a positive approval rating can explain an area where he has been a success.
Rasmussen must consistantly sample Acorn, SEIU, and all large urban areas.
Any of you in the rurals ever get a call from Rasmussen?
I’m glad that I never subscribed to his lame polling site. I was about to earlier in the year, but he’s turned into as much of a hack as the Libstream Media.
Ah..light came on...Rasmussen uses the 0bama-Phone database...
They've become freeloaders themselves.
(Yet, they still expect us to come out and vote for their guys every two years, as if they'll make a difference......Somewhere. Somehow.)
It changed for the better for the government leeches and parasites.
This could well be true, despite it being reported by Rasmussen.
For the leeches they love it, for the rest of us we have to suffer
Probably is. More and more people are getting free handouts because of Obomnomics. The economy is in dire straights. When a crises arrives (never waste a good crises), people will cry out for a savior. Be he God or the devil, people will accept him.
It'll get to the point where the dependency and economic collapse reaches a crises point. People will flock to the left for their promised freebies - at first. When they begin to realize they've been trapped by the dictatorial left like animals, that's when the new age will start to arrive. People (both democrat and republican) will wake up to the fact the politicians were NEVER their friends. No, not one of them.
Unfortunately, this country will have to go through a cleansing, but it WILL be cleansed. I'm looking forward to that day. There is a silver lining to this black cloud.
for the rest of us we have to suffer
Yep. The leftists have been preping these leeches for a long time at our expense and now we are paying a bigger price - our freedom.
If the tax slaves rebel - their masters will starve.

I know that Rasmussen is unreliable now but I feel that his poll is probably right..people just care about getting free stuff now. Obama could have gone to Libya and killed those 4 brave Americans himself and his approval rating would still be in the 50 percentile..its a sad day in our country when freebies trumps everything else
What a contrast.
its a sad day in our country when freebies trumps everything else
Yep and even sadder there is no positive ending.
Give it up. Polls were right on, conservative poll demagogues were full of crap.
If the polls were right on, then that means there was zero fraud. Is that what you were saying?
What my point was, Rasmussen was about 3 points off. I imagine he’s over correcting that now.
In 2012,in Every poll thread, within 5 posts there were Freepers who came on and swore the polls were fixed and oversampling Democrats and Romney was really going to win it.
Now the election is over and despite the results nothing has changed.
Unbelievable
that may be in Freep world, which I was not in - except as a visitor from time to time - in 2008. I do know that on other message boards, and talk radio, there was almost no delusion that McCain would win. An oddball here or there, but the over all feeling from late September on was a McCain loss. So, a lot has changed elsewhere....freep not withstanding.
I NEVER get a chance to give my “approval” rating. Guess the numbers don’t go that low.
