I was thinking that I could allow Freepers to display timelines of their articles.
It would be a useful feature, as you would just add a couple of lines of HTML were you want the timeline to be located and it automatically generates it. It takes 10 seconds to add a timeline to any website.
Unfortunately Jim strips out all script tags before posting. I can understand this.
We have all heard of “text to speech”. This is “text to timeline”.
This widget was originally written for Wikipedia. We are still struggling to get it through the bureaucracy over there.
Comments, suggestions and ideas are all welcome.
Thanks
Jeff
Very good idea, FoxPro...but...
Barack Obama decapitated David Petraeus. Americas finest? No match. The media is holding up his bloody head.
R.I.P. Ty Woods, Glen Doherty, Sean Smith, Chris Stevens. Theyre pissing on your graves.
Now...wheres that guy that made the video that caused all this?
3-dimensional chess vs. tiddly winks BUMP!
I want the Libyans to toss in a goat, stamped with a date and timeline. It will make this entire affair much more interesting.
Thank you. Helps to have this. I don’t know if it’s possible, or if you want to do it, but I think a timeline of Benghazi would be helpful. I’m trying to specifically figure out when the Americans go to the hospital to get the Ambassador’s body.
Well, if you can find me the text, with all of the dates, I can make a timeline of it in about 30 seconds.
This is very cool and helpful. Thank you.
