Jill Kelley requested 'diplomatic protection' in 911 call
Fox News ^ | 11-13-12 | Fox News

The South Tampa woman connected to the Petraeus scandal called police to her home several times in the last few days, and at least once tried to invoke "diplomatic protection."

Media from around the world have convened at the two-story Bayshore Boulevard home of Scott and Jill Kelley. Jill is the socialite mother of three whose FBI complaint about harassing emails eventually led investigators to uncover the CIA director's affair with his biographer, Paula Broadwell, and is now linked to the name of a second top general.

The Kelleys have kept a low profile since news of the scandal broke, and had to request police help to chase people from their yard.

Two 911 calls were made from the Kelleys' home on Sunday. In the first recording, a man whose name was redacted says there is someone at the door who won't leave his property. The second caller, who identifies herself as Jill, says there's someone lurking in their yard.

As the call ends, she makes an apparent reference to her role at MacDill Air Force Base, which the Associated Press has described as an "unpaid social liaison."

She sure lawyered-up fast with a high-powered lawyer. Strange that a poor, innocent girl who received some e-mails would do this. You don’t get a mouthpiece like that unless you are scared of being in big trouble.

Anyone know what a “unpaid social liaison” does for a living?

Is that like an intern with benefits?

Wait until it comes out that this drama queen initiated this whole thing as a way to play the victim and try to make money off of it. They are apparently deeply in debt.

I’ll bet right now besides her Washington lawyer, her husband has secured a bankruptcy lawyer and a divorce lawyer.

Have they searched Ft Marcy Park, yet? No telling what/who they’ll find there.

Let’s see...

Unpaid - Free
Social - Pertaining to human beings
Liaison - A linking up

So....you figure it out.

Rubber helmet and lobster bib, for “under desk work” details.

I agree. They evidently owe millions. If she was up to no good, that $300000 her twin sister received wouldn’t be enough. There has to be some more money from someone else.

This is a classic case of a wannabe overrating her self-importance. Does the bimbo understand that every citizen in this country enjoys “inviolability”?

“You know, I don’t know if by any chance, because I’m an honorary consul general, so I have inviolability, so they should not be able to cross my property. I don’t know if you want to get diplomatic protection involved as well,” she told the 911 dispatcher, who agreed to pass the information along to police.

The Astute Blogger posted some very interesting speculations:
"HAS THE PETRAEUS AFFAIR EXPOSED A BIGGER, DARKER MORE DISGUSTING SCANDAL?

NYDAILY NEWS:

"Broadwell’s father said Sunday his daughter is the victim of character assassination and implied the bombshell story is just a smoke screen for something bigger.

IS THE "SOMETHING BIGGER" MONEY? MONEY TO BE MADE IN THE REGIONS UNDER CONTROL OF CENTCOM?

MAYBE WE NED TO FOLLOW THE MONEY?

FOLLOW THIS THREAD OF SPECULATION:

Okay, now we have crossed the line of believability.

That some suspect that the sisters are spies....Okay, it's a stretch but there is a certain logic.

Another poster speculated that they are connected to a powerful Iraqi family....That's really stretching it, but I've heard kookier.

But to suggest that Charlie Crist is into females??!!

Now you are getting into the realm of ludicrous!! lol ;)

This is too much. Too sleezy. But no matter how stupid these people are, Petraeus still needs to testify. There are four Americans that were abandoned to die.

she is a frickin idiot. We had a real problem here in MO with those stupid “consular” license plates. People who thought they had a special relationship with some foreign country could get the plates and then they started acting pretentious like some kind of diplomats or some stupid thing.

I always thought the big benny was immunity to parking tickets.

Anyone know what a “unpaid social liaison” does for a living?

That's easy. She marries a highly successful oncologist, gets bored, and cultivates her social status as something to do.

She manages to befriend people with connections to MacDill and CENTCOM and finds that high-ranking officers like to be entertained at lavish parties and fawned over during their downtime. And she enjoys doing same and flirting with them.

Until one day, from out of the blue, our social butterfly gets a batch of nastygrams from some anonymous who feels that she has earned the exclusive right to access that high brass and resents interlopers! Social butterfly panics, calls the FBI, and the rest is history.

Diplomatic protection? After Chris Stevens, I think I’d rather have presidential protection. Diplomatic protection doesn’t protect s**t.

What’s even weirder is that I was watching Greta’s show tonight, and she reported that Fox had researched Kelley’s claim and found that she IS, in fact, an honorary consular for...wait for it...South Korea. What the heck?

Here's the confirmation:

""She does not work as a real consul. They play a role to improve the relationship between the ROK and the U.S.," the official said. "Jill Kelley helped to get support for [the Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement] and she arranged meetings between the ROK Ambassador to Washington and local businessmen when the ROK Ambassador visited the Tampa area."
