A record low number of American voters want to see the Affordable Care Act – Obamacare – repealed, according to a new post-election poll conducted by the Kaiser Family Foundation.

Obamacare was not the top issue driving American to vote, although nearly seven in 10 Americans cited it as a “major factor” in their decision choosing between the candidates, according to Kaiser. Voters who listed Obamacare as a major factor were evenly split between Republican Mitt Romney, 47 percent, and President Obama, 46 percent.

But only 33 percent of Americans now want to see the law repealed. Romney had pledged to repeal the law and replace it with new policy. 43 percent of Americans view the law favorably and 39 percent view it unfavorably, according to the poll.

Seven in 10 Americans also cited the future of Medicare as a “major factor” in their vote. Obama led among this group, 50 percent – 41 percent.

National exit polls conducted on election day found 26 percent of voters wanted the law expanded, 18 percent want it left as-is, 27 percent wanted to repeal some of the law and 25 percent wanted to repeal all of it.

Americans have come to accept socialism as their path of choice.

Can we please, forevermore, stop pushing the wildly false notion that America is a “center-right” country??? It`s center-left, plain and simple.

Just like liberal progressives...Win an election by 2% claim a false mandate and then keep promoting the lie that because you won the election ALL things you did not agree with before are now irrefutable actions that all want.

Dangerous liberal progressives...enemies of the USA.

Yes more likely people are just tired of fighting it. With about 14 states opting out of it and likely more to come the monstrosity will probably die under its own weight.

Think of all the twenty somethings who just simply won’t sign up for it. Not to mention a lot of the rest of us. Its unworkable in its design.

On the day that Bowman Gray Medical Center in Winston-Salem NC announced they were cutting over 900 positions.

Irony.

We are divided as a nation, a 50-50 country.

The 50% who approve of obamacare, expect to not have to pay for it just like they don’t have to pay for anything else. No taxes, food stamps and now free health care. Does like get any better.

You know for a fact that the majority of the 47%ers believe that 0bamacare means that all medical care is free on demand.

Morons. I’ll be dead when the commissars control 100% and there will be no sympathy for the future seniors of AMerica who are now the youthful Obamazombies from wherever I end up. None at all. They’ve made their beds now they can pay for it.

It doesn’t matter who supports it or doesn’t support it. With his pet Senate Obama now has the flexibility to do whatever he wants.

It doesn’t matter now. It’s not gonna be repealed regardless of how many people disapprove of it.

That’s a variation of about 3 percent in a sample of 1200 people. Just simple math.

I did stand up for it by voting. But The Senate is not going to allow a vote to repeal anything, Obama’s not going to sign anything, and John Bonehead already admitted to submission. What do we do?

There is a reason that the Dems put all the bad stuff after the 2012 elections and the benefits immediately. Elections have consequences.

It's a variation of 3% only if the special interests answer the phone at the same frequency as the ordinary people ~ but they don't ~ particularly if they are tipped off about the survey.

If the special interests ALWAYS answer the phone and the ordinary people only answer 9% of the time, the special interests effectively create 11X the response rate for themselves than that created by the ordinary people.

That 3% becomes 11X 3%, or 33%.
