The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 54% of Likely Voters at least somewhat approve of President Obama's job performance. Forty-five percent (45%) at least somewhat disapprove.

Obama’s overall approval ratings since Election Day have been at the highest levels since the early months of his presidency in 2009 (see trends).

Ninety-eight percent (98%) of black voters approve, while 56% of whites disapprove. Among voters of other races, 83% approve and 15% disapprove.

Huh? Who are these people and where did they come from? Mars?

Mr. Obama is now concerned about the deficit he created.

I smell another stimulus and more taxes so he can keep on spending.

Ugh!

At this rate we only have 44 day to go until Hussein hits 100% job approval.

Of what possible relevance is the polling on this issue at this time?

What difference does it make?

No one makes decisions based on this.

The national descent into insanity continues. I guess people think because Kim Jong Obama lied himself to re-election the nation’s problems are all fixed and behind us. I hope these people who approve of Obama are the first to get their lay off notices, their health insurance premium hikes and their notices from their employers that their health benefits are being discontinued because it will just be cheaper to pay the fine and let government insure them.

Rasmussen probably changed his sampling methodology, because of the suit against Gallup, and he missed the Presidential Election outcome....

Rasmussen, go hide your head in the sand.

This is the same discredited outfit that released this outrageous lie from what has all the traits of an agenda-driven push poll: 54% Are Pro-Choice, 38% Pro-Life.

Rasmussen is a Republican leaning pollster. One reason why he got it so wrong this election cycle is because he had Romney doing better than he really was.

This is the same discredited outfit that released this outrageous lie from what has all the traits of an agenda-driven push poll: 54% Are Pro-Choice, 38% Pro-Life.

The pro-life movement took it on the chin this past election cycle. Why is a poll showing a 54% majority of likely voters are pro choice a surprise? All around us the country is becoming more libertine - AND voting that way. We just lost the gay marriage fight in 4 states this cycle too.

Rasmussen was wrong because he didn't predict Obama and the forces of leftwing secular lunacy doing well enough in the elections. Sad, but true.

People love a WINNER, so they approve of him at the moment. Also, I suspect that Ras, having been wrong this election, is modifying his special sauce.

“Rasmussen is a Republican leaning pollster.”

Do you have anything to back this statement up? His polling was off this cycle, but that shows that his assumptions were wrong, not that he is “Republican leaning.”

Gallup over estimated Obama’s winning margin by 4% in 2008, and underestimated it by 3% in 2012. This is evidence of methodological errors, not political leanings.

Clearly, the Stockholm Syndrome has kicked in.

Those held in captivity to this dime-store knock-off of a Messiah have surrendered all critical thinking and self-esteem, while parroting his lines and being grateful he has not been even more arbitrary and conceited.

You said...

“People love a WINNER, so they approve of him at the moment”

It’s not uncommon for a president’s AR to rise after winning re-election
