Paul Ryan's Wisconsin Neighbors Supported His Opponents ["The Unkindest Cut of All"?]

Paul Ryan's Wisconsin Neighbors Supported His Opponents

By Bob Secter. November 14, 2012 In the closing days of his vice-presidential run, Paul D. Ryan sought to connect with voters in small- and medium-sized towns across Ohio by repeatedly telling them how much their community had in common with his own hometown of Janesville, Wis.

Now, post-election, the Wisconsin congressman is blaming his Republican ticket loss with presidential contender Mitt Romney on a huge turnout of urban voters for President Obama.

One flaw in that analysis may be that election results indicate the Romney-Ryan ticket didn’t exactly connect with the voters back in Janesville, either.

A struggling blue-collar manufacturing town of 63,575, Janesville lies on the eastern edge of Rock County, Wis., and unofficial election tabulations from the county clerk there show that only 37% of Ryan’s hometown neighbors voted for him and his running mate. Meanwhile, Obama and Vice President Joe Biden got 62% of the Janesville vote.

The results were even slightly worse for Ryan from his own polling place at the Hedberg Public Library. Out of 1,428 votes cast there, 65% went for Obama-Biden and just 34% for Romney-Ryan.

It was early voting fraud central .
This was carefully planned for four years by the Daley machine were these
Con artists came from .
Muchelle’s Daddy was a Daley precinct thug .
In broward dade palm beach counties the dem
Election heads never stopped early voting in violation of state law and no one stopped them .
Now Broward just found votes not counted in a warehouse !
It’ was a massive set up .
In Port St Lucie there was 143% turn out in the dem districts !
That is fraud !

Obviously these single women chose free birth control over jobs... I suppose they are also going to choose food-stamps, housing assitance and other forms of welfare since there is nothing Obama will do to fix the economic downturn his policies are creating so there will be no increase in the job opportunities...unless they are interested in the worlds oldest occupation !!

Janesville voted against Scott Walker during the Recall, and so did Racine and Kenosha.

It may be interesting to see what happens as the unions begin to collapse and die across the midwest as the manufacturing jobs move down south or overseas. You have a very white population there that has bucked the trend and continued to vote Rat.

As the dollar continues to fall apart, we shall see if the trends continue. The Minnesotas, Wisconsins, and Michigans of the world may begin to lean Republican again simply due to the failing influence of the unions.

It certainly hasn’t happened yet.

“-—the Wisconsin congressman is blaming his Republican ticket loss with presidential contender Mitt Romney on a huge turnout of urban voters -—”

WRONG!

Note to Romney/Ryan: Here are a small sampling of the REAL reasons that y’all lost:

Never questioned Obama’s place of birth;
Never questioned Obama’s reasons for sealing his personal documents and school records;
Never Campaigned from the end of the Primary until people started early voting;
Never allowed The Father of the Tea Party to be involved in y’alls GOP-Elite Campaign;
Y’all listened to y’alls sorry Harvard top campaign advisers;
Ignored Moderator Bob Scheiffer when he delivered the election to Romney on a silver platter with his question to him about Benghazi as the first question in the third debate;
Romney, as the Father of Socialist Romney’care’ ran against the Father of Communist Obama’care.’
Y’all NEVER ONCE went for the coup de gra’ce;
Every time that y’all got ahead, y’all relaxed and changed course;
Y’all kept y’alls advisors that had done a perfect job of designing a campaign to “LOSE AT ALL COSTS.”

Y’all are just another pair of loser RINOs.
Don’t run in 2016 unless you understand all of the above, as we damn sure won’t forget ANY of y’alls RINO blunders!

DUH! I’m surprised that y’all received as many votes as y’all did.

BTW, the only good thing that came out of y’alls Primary and General Campaigns was HOW NOT TO RUN A CAMPAIGN!

Here’s the real reason why Romney lost and failed to connect: We played by THEIR rules

To “struggling blue collar” Dem voters I say this... If you
think it makes sense to sh!t in the face of job creators by
voting for Barry O, when they have been telling you over and
over and over that they will pull back investment if he is
elected...

Then that tells me why you are still “blue collar”. You do
not have the skills of logical analysis that allows one to
succeed at higher levels of a profit making enterprise.

Actually, Janesville is the county seat of Rock County, which voted Dem in the election. It’s south of Milwaukee. Waukesha is the western Milwaukee suburban area.

"liberal state"

I guess that's why Scott Walker, one of the most conservative governors in the history of the U.S., got elected and then re-elected. (snicker) Wisconsin is actually about 50-50. This time the Dems were more motivated than the Pubbies.

If GOPers couldn`t muster up the energy to turn back Obama and Tammy Baldwin... then, when will they? But it`s just a microcosm of the USSA as a whole... not just WI.. the same disgusting dynamic happened here in Virginia.

As a whole, America is a center-left country now. Center-right countries may occasionally make the mistake of electing someone like 0bama once, but self-correct next time around. America just doubled down on secularist socialism.

I agree. We will never know the actual votes in any areas due to wide spread voter fraud. None of us know if our own votes were counted.

I should have phrased it better. They are in the same congressional district. Paul Ryan wins due to the Waukesha portion of the district, not Janesville which is and has been democrat for over 40 years.

Romney lacked “fire in the belly.” I seriously doubt that he wanted to be President.

Tone of voice, pretty-boy smile, body language, choice of softball words, lack of follow-through on key issues such as the Benghazi Murders, etc., all indicated to me that he had better things to do with HIS precious time than to spend it running for President of the United States of America.

It is time for us to shun the typical RINO/GOP-Elite Campaigns Method of LOSE AT ALL COSTS.

“Whisper softly and then sit down” should be the motto of the Dole-McCain-Romney ‘Choose to lose’ Campaigns.

Yes, although he got the lowest percentage of the vote he's ever had in that district, in eight Congressional races. He won with 55% of the vote to 43% for the Dem, Paul Zerban, & 2% for Keith Deschler of the Libertarian Party.
