Two public school teachers are facing investigations for posting messages that some perceived as critical of President Obama on social networking sites.
In Rock Hill, SC, a middle school teacher was placed on leave after she posted a message on her personal Facebook page about President Obama and food stamps.
Congrats Obama, she allegedly wrote. As one of my students sang down the hallway, We get to keep our food stamps which I pay for because they cant budget their money and really, neither can you.
A school spokesperson said they had received several calls complaining about the eighth grade math teacher at Rawlinson Road Middle School. The teacher has apologized.
A school official told Fox News that the complaints originated from pro-Obama supporters outside the school.
People outside the school system that saw her posting and some of them said they were offended by it, spokesperson Elaine Baker said. She used poor judgment according to our social media policy. Teachers are kept to higher standards.
Baker said teachers and school employees should watch what they post on Facebook to be careful.

All the unions seem send out those voting instructions. Abominable. My ex was/is a union carpenter, the poltics was all over those quarterly newsletters. Sheep.
Doesn’t the U.S. Constitution say something about “Freedom of Speach”? Seems to me I recall something about that....(sarc)
Loose lips sink ships.
Instead I suggest organizing with your local governor about seceding from the Union.

The truth hurts but they don’t like it. Too Damn bad!
More racisism crys coming.
Yep, posting such is definitely a firing offense...
Just another day in the Obamanation.
Im a teacher at a school in Alaska, and I have to tell you that a cold chill went down my spine,...Maybe you need a heavier parka? Just kidding.
Yea, take a few minutes to digest that.
Ditto. Just wish she hadn’t apologized.
Public school teachers doing the right thing and not recieving the support of the community.
How did I know that you would automatically take the "low" road instead of saying: "How can I get involved to help these teachers?"
Real Conservatives attempt to lift the whole rather than sink to the lowest common denominator.
We don't do it "for the reward", we do it because it is the right thing to do. There is hope (Really hope not he hopey changey thing) for the future, but not if everyone just abandons ship. Why did Terry Woods run towards the compound in Benghazi? There was not going to be a reward.
Try telling that to the several consulate members that he was able to rescue.
There are to many people who would rather sit on their collective butts pontificating about the horrible schools and disastrous administrations instead of standing up, getting involved and trying to rescue those they can.
Funny, a Philly Poll had a mural of Bambi and that was OK.
Well, yeah, duh....The regime will be pleased to know that you are finally seeing the light, comrade.
She would have been just fine if she had posted obscene comments about Romney or Ryan.
That said, I would urge such a person to not use his own name on a social media sight. I know of two police officers and a state government employee who post under nicknames. Wise choice. If I were still teaching, I would not use my real name on FB.
teachers are held to higher standards..???
Like bussing kids to Obama rallies... singing songs about how wonderful Obama is and stuff like that??
Very good. You are catching on, comrade.
C’mon, try to keep up, comrade. Obamugabe don’t need no steenkin’ Constitution.
I got a Facebook account so I could look at others’ Facebook postings. There’s no way I’ll post anything there. It’s too much like undressing in public.
Ever wonder why Facebook doesn’t have “don’t like” button?
to many people
That should be **too** many people.
I noticed that you did not diagree with the facts I presented. Maqybe there is hope for uninspired retired medical “professonals.”
