Authorities: vandals buried objects at Ohio mound (A real tin-foil alert)

Authorities are seeking people they say vandalized an ancient snake-shaped Serpent Mound by burying what may be hundreds of small muffin-like resin objects at the southern Ohio earthworks.

The Columbus Dispatch reports that the objects buried at the 63-acre Native American site in Peebles were embedded with aluminum foil and quartz crystal. Three have been found so far.

The Ohio Historical Society says a YouTube video posted by a group calling itself Unite the Collective shows people running across the earthworks. It includes comments by individuals describing themselves as "light warriors" who say they planted the objects to "help lift the vibration of the earth so we can all rise together."

Freaky new-agers. Reminds me of those loons back in the ‘90s that were building networks of “Cloud Busters” to offset the influence of “Chemtrails” and restore aetheric harmony (or whatever they were for...Art Bell probably could explain it...or not). They must have forgotten the ever-important attributes of a good tin foil hat:

1.) Shiny side out. If you place the shiny side inside it simply bounces the radio transmissions around your head like pinballs. Shiny side out reflects them away.

2.) A good chin strap is a necessity. You don't want that sucker to slide off.

Some of these people actually believe that these serpent shaped things at different locations were just spontaneously made by “Mother Earth” herself as an indication of how much she is displeased with mankind for “global warming”. I’m not kidding.
