You don't. You ignore those people--shun them. Start working on our own system within a system.

And a ready-made foundation for that new society is private education. Of course, not all private schools are paragons of virtue, but they are at least more accountable to parents, and parents have some comfort in knowing that a majority of other parents are willing to sacrifice their own material comfort for a better education for their children.

Public education has destroyed this country, and I have always been disheartened by the support it gets among purported conservatives, even on this site. Some even consider compulsory state-run education as a prerequisite to be an advanced nation.

I see that Bill Whittle has a number of videos; was there one in particular you were thinking of?

How many “millionaires” will be EXEMPT from those taxes:

Let’s see:

ALL hollywood actors/actresses/producers/directors. Think streisand, schpielbugger etc.

All major league sports figures. (oppressed minority)

All MSM media wonks and personalities. (good press)

The ruling class is, of course, already EXEMPT FROM DEATH PANEL CARE. (erstwhile obamacare).

If you “let the country crash,” Republicans will be blamed. Republicans will be blamed for EVERYTHING, anyway - effectively too, evidenced by the zombie Obama electorate.

At least making impassioned and extremely loud protests on all fronts will at least be on some historical record and work to establish Republicans as the responsible party.

LOL, if anyone could do anything about the coming crash, we would be living in the Roman Empire singing Hail Caesar.

I cannot imagine my grandparents simply standing around and letting this happen to them simply out of fear of being called racist

Mine sure as hell wouldn't.

You are CORRECT-—Public Schools are THE catalyst of this ruin.
Bill Whittle video: do not let his example of private space program funding scare you—he’s just using it as an example because its a topic he is involved in. He goes on to mention PRIVATE and/or home schooling, among other great suggestions for us to begi8ng THINKING of alternatives.
The Amish live within our existing system, yet they are removed from most of the rot.
The pay their taxes, but have their own network for self sufficiency.
I would rather work on ideas than wring my hands.

I recently left a job that was like that. Got out about 5 min before I was outsourced.

For the last 6 months I was there, I likened it to watching a slow-motion building collapse, while looking up from the basement.

Last I heard, they'd been without phones for three DAYS. The whole company. And if the phones aren't ringing, they're not making any money. I asked the guy who told me, "Why haven't they used the failover system?"

Guy looked shocked. 'There's a failover??"

I replied, "Sure, I put it in myself. It would take a morning or so of work to fail things over, but that's better than three days of downtime. It's all in the documentation that I left."

Guy just shook his head sadly. There was no one left in the department to read my docs, everyone that I had trained was gone,, and the offshore people that IT was outsourced to were utterly and completely incompetent, as was the CIO who hired them.

So glad that I got out. So very glad. I didn't think that the S would HTF within just a few months, but it obviously was.

There is something genuinely satisfying about raising well-informed conservative children

"In the world, but not of the world" has never seemed so real to me as it does these days.

Great post, C.

How can one add to that?
(especially your closing line)

Unified nations survive.
Balkanized nations do not.

The United States might be the first nation in human history that having once been ethnically/culturally unified, deliberately Balkanized itself — and then failed for having done so.

America was largely founded upon Thomas Jefferson’s egalitarian dream, as written into his Declaration. At the time, during the Enlightenment when gifted men were trying to free themselves of “The Divine Right of Kings”, the notion that all had been created equal became the ultimate credo. The antidote to tyranny and kings.

And we drank that down and lived with it for almost two centuries. It worked for us because it’s easy to proclaim that all are equal when the vast majority (88%) were culturally and ethnically the same.

But what Jefferson could not understand is that you can’t change natural law and human nature by the written word.

And a fundamental element of human nature is that people generally trust and wish to be amongst others who are like themselves. And also that they tend to be distrustful of others who are different from themselves. That is what it is, like it or not.

Up until the mid 1960’s, even those who shaped and enforced the immigration policies of The United States understood this as well. That’s why until immigration was “reformed” in 1965, U.S. immigration policy was (quite frankly) exclusionary and discriminatory. It was designed to maintain a status quo that protected the ethnic makeup of the country, and in so doing, it also indirectly maintained the edifice of the egalitarian dream.

But once that was changed, and the “new immigrant tide” came rolling in, cracks began appearing in that edifice. It hasn’t yet crumbled, but the cracks have become fissures that threaten to take the structure down.

One problem is that the newcomers don’t have any issues with the notion of “identity politics” — they see themselves “as a group”, and have no problems advancing their own group interests. And rather than become part of the traditional “Euro-American” culture, they keep a distance. This is particularly true of blacks, who since the 1960’s seem to have deliberately embarked on a course to separate themselves from the Euro culture (even though at the beginning of “The Civil Rights Era”, Euros made it well-known to blacks that we supported the concept of “integration”).

Thus, we have growing cohorts of non-Euros who seem to have little connection to our traditional old ways (and perhaps who openly denigrate such beliefs), but who have no qualms about utilizing the power of “group identity” to promote their own.

This is the recipe for Balkanization.

As Ayn Rand said:
“We can evade reality. What we cannot evade are the consequences of evading reality”

The seeds we sowed in 1965, the reality we evaded then, is a-ketchin’ up to us!

'Let'?

It is unavoidable... Akin, perhaps, to 'letting it rain'.

LOL, indeed.

I'm sure that I could find a different way to say what you said. I don't think I could say it better. EBT cards and iphones are the bread and circuses of our time.
