UN Security Council holds emergency meeting on Israeli strikes
BIZPACReview.com ^ | 11/15/2012 | Marc Kahlberg

Kahlberg is reporting news and opinion from the front line of Israel:

The UN Security Council held an emergency meeting on Wednesday night to discuss Israeli strikes against the Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip but took no action, as Israel threatened a wider offensive in the Palestinian terror enclave to stop missile and rocket attacks by terrorists.

Is it not sad that the United Nations sees fit to convene an emergency session less than 12 hours after Israel is forced to defend itself against the ongoing and continuous acts of terror against innocent Israeli civilians?

Is it not sad that all of the Israeli requests for UN action to stop the Palestinian terror over several years has been ignored continuously? ....

I can't imagine living in a place where there is such violence on a regular basis. We must stand with Israel against these terrorists.

Remind me again when they met when Gaza was bombing Israel?

Oddly enough, I blame Israel for this continuing nonsense.

Why?

For the simple reason that no other country in the world would permit such harassment without forcing the offending group to leave.

But four major wars have been fought against Israel, in which the Paleos have openly supported the foreign armies trying to destroy Israel, but after the Israeli victories, *nothing* was done against their fifth column Paleos. Nothing!

Common sense dictates that the restive Gazans should have long ago been pushed into Egypt, one way or another. The Israelis could have been brutal in doing so, or they could have been “nice guys”, to assuage their overwhelming feelings of stupid guilt, and given each and every one of the Paleos cash on the way out the door. BUT THEY WOULD BE GONE. For good. Never, ever to darken Israel’s doorstep again.

This is simple enough to understand. And until Israel does what every other country in the world would do, this problem will continue. With Israelis being murdered. Indiscriminate attacks falling down on their heads. Infiltrators bent on homicide bombings.

Why, oh why can’t Israel do the sensible thing and make an end of it? Their overwhelming guilt at the thought of doing so is insane. Unjustifiable. Mentally ill.

They could end the problem tomorrow, and after some brief hubbub, the rest of the world would forget about it, thankful that the continual, nagging, festering wound that is the Paleos has *finally* stopped.

And, of course, if the Paleos decided to annoy their Egyptian hosts even in the slightest, the Egyptians would not hesitate for a moment to discipline them. And nobody would care one whit.

The UN decided not to do anything in their “emergency meeting” because they all forgot to bring a pen and paper to the meeting. How are they going to write a letter if nobody brings paper and a pen to the meeting?

Jeesh. Incompetence.

I don’t dissagree with your position. But keep this in mind. Even if Israel were to completely move all the Palestinians out of Gaza and into Egypt, the vacuum would fill with newer “Palestinians”.

Israel would have to take the territory and abolish the existence of “Gaza”.

The world would cry “Genocide”!!!!

The UN is Satan’s own. I would love to be alive during the period they and everybody else who wants to destroy Israel get completely annihilated. Man plans, God laughs.

UN Security Council holds emergency meeting on Israeli strikes

Meanwhile, Obama has a difficult schedule, no time for trivial problems after a short jaunt to NYC.
"The President views storm damage, talks with citizens who are recovering from the storm and thanks first responders who put their lives at risk to protect their communities."
Wonder how those citizens view the response of FEMA?

From The White House, President's schedule November 15, 2012:

4:35 pm "The President hosts cast and crew members of the film Lincoln for a screening at the White House"

Spirochete~:” UN Security Council holds emergency meeting on Israeli strikes
Only when Israel retaliates.

Exactly !
That ought to tell you where the UN allegience lies.
Now the U.S. has supplied money and arms to the Muslim Buddiehood at Benghazi . Isreal is now completely surrounded by religious zealots who are armed and dangerous.
So much for the “Religion of Peace” .
Now the U.N. ,the President , and the Secretary of State want to overpower our 2nd Amendment rights and restrict our U.S. gun sales ..?
Enough said : Get out of the UN .. now !!

“If Palestine were to lay down their guns tomorrow, there would be no war. If Israel were to lay down theirs, there would be no Israel” - Benjamin Netanyahu

The terrorists launch 240 rockets from Gaza into Israel in two days, and the UN meets to discuss Israel’s counterattack? The UN has no legitimacy and no purpose beyond undermining freedom and decency.

I just hope they have plenty of bombs and weapons, because barry won't sell them any. Those are reserved for the enemies of the U.S. and Israel.

I’m not so sure about Gaza being refilled by Paleos, as one of the fastest growing groups in Israel are the Ultra-Orthodox Jews, who would be more than glad to take over Gaza. If given free reign, settlements would pop up all over the place overnight.

I long ago advocated for 1 Kilometer of Gaza to be taken by the Israelis for every terrorist attack emanating from Gaza.

Starting in the North.

The problem takes care of itself, pretty quickly.

yep, over 70%of its membership are OIC.
Probability of help from the US is 100% for the UN and its agenda now that we have Barrack Hussein Mohammet Bin Ghazi Obama as the CIC of America.

Makes a person want to ask... where is the touted R2P these days???
