Yahoo Finance ^ | November 15, 2012 | Jeff Macke

"President Obama; that's why people aren't buying stocks," says Todd Schoenberger, managing principal at The BlackBay Group.

1. Companies aren't going to hire with the increased expenses associated with Obamacare

2. People aren't going to have money for discretionary spending when taxes going up for the 1%

3. Small business owners won't expand

4. Higher tax rates for individuals making over $250,000 a year will result in a general lack of ambition.

Don’t forget that His Majesty also said that electric rates will necessarily double. For some companies this could be more expensive than Obamacare.

And entrepeneurship has basically broken down as those who can are less likely to invest lest they be punished one way or another by the Obama so-called administration.

The pending election of Obama was a big reason why my wife and I sold off nearly all of our stocks and stock funds back in the spring of 2008 when the Dow was sitting around 12,500-13,000. 4-1/2 years later, and it looks like the Dow may be dropping below this range soon enough.

My average returns through 8 years of Bush was 32% and -5% through 4 of der obamafuhrer.

Yes, it was Bush's fault that I once prospered.

CNBC and Bloomberg networks are furiously peddling the fantasy that the stock market crash after the election is solely due to “the fiscal cliff” and that, of course, is the Republican’s fault....the TEA Party Republicans in particular.

Any sane observer knows that the stock market was going up before the election because investors thought Romney would win. The morning after the election, they took out their disappointment on the market, and it’s been in a swoon ever since. But the ObamaBots at the business networks will never admit that.

“There’s no reason right now to work hard and actually do something with your life, to actually become a huge success,” Schoenberger wails, “because, if you are, you’re the villain and villains are meant for Batman and Spiderman movies, not for America right now.”
Well heck no - why bother. If you are busting your butt working for a living, you’ll get taxed to death so the govt can distribute your hard-earned dollars to the deadbeats and illegal aliens. If you’re a deadbeat or illegal alien, you’re life is grand cuz everyone else is busting their butt taking care of you.

The way CNBC is peddling that crap not to blame Obama is beyond the point of ridiculous.
Anyone with any sense knows this is the *Obama Crash*.
The market was looking for a trigger and to give up hope, this was it.
Probably wouldn't have happened with a Romney win, would have been some hope, now there is none.

“The London Company had agreed to provide the means for the launching of the Virginia colony; however, it was stipulated that no wages would be paid. The Company promised that houses would be built for everyone but stipulated that when the crops were harvested they would be divided among the settlers equally. The Company was to receive its share of the profits and after several years the settlers would receive a division of the proceeds and enough land for farming and the building of private dwellings.

Today we would call this scheme ‘voluntary’ communism. However, it did not take long to discover that human nature does not adapt itself to working voluntarily when it is known that all will share equally in the harvest whether they worked or not. Not only is this arrangement an open invitation for the lazy to engage in malingering, but those who actually do the work feel cheated when they see the lazy settlers getting as much as those who performed the labor. Before long this voluntary communism became compulsory communism.” (W. Cleon Skousen, The Majesty of God’s Law It’s Coming to America, Ensign Publishing, Salt Lake City, UT, (1996), p. 341)

No kidding. I’ve been selling nearly daily since the election.

And it isn’t about storms, fiscal cliffs, or the latest government report.

It is about 0bama’s DESTROY CAPITALISM agenda.

Stocks are stupid until there is a -50% debacle. Maybe then a person could bottom fish.

Just before I sold my stock I looked at the ratings recommendations for each one. All the experts were saying buy or accumulate, good stocks. Well they were all going down. Yup I'm out except for one medical stock which is going up because it is very good. I expect it will also be a sell before January 1st. I check it several times a day and will sell it at the first burp.

Everyone should wise up just as you have and right now! If a people can find a way; they should put their assets out of reach of the thieving Commies until and if things improve. Feeding Obama’s freeloading voter base will only make it grow and assure the Commie Dems power from now on.

” can an AMerican have a Canadian bank account?...can an American buy land in Canada?”

Not sure why you ask. At this time in America, you can choose to have your assets progressively taxed out of existance or use them to your own family’s advantage until such time as Socialism makes it illegal for you to have even one dollar more than is considered by our government to be “necessary” for your life. That time will be upon this country sooner than you think.
