I see these type posts all the time, “freep this poll”. Why?

I've got to give credit where credit is due; you admit your ignorance, most don't.

For your edification: If the media gets the result it wants it uses it to "prove" that Americans want gun control. If it doesn't get the result it wants it can't do that.

The media will post whatever it cares to, accurate or not, and the politicians will do whatever they wish too. What does a poll have to do with it or accomplish other than making people feel good about participating?
