Karl Rove’s part of the problem, not the solution

Click the link below to read the rest via rdbrewer at Ace’s. Personally, I think the GOP is in far worse trouble than they seem to think given their post-election actions. At the same time, they seem to be doing well at the state-level.

In other words Porky, "get lost!" You're not wanted around here anymore. "Now go!"

Well, I tell you, assuming that we do have another election in the future, which I suppose we will, I’ll have no choice but to vote GOP, even at this point.

There doesn’t seem to be anything else forming or occuring so it is what it is.

That being said, I’m keeeping my money, no donations, I don’t support them they don’t support me, I don’t like them, and they don’t like me.

It’s literally a wonderful relationship ;/

The only problem with Rove is that he has GOPe written all over him.

That S just isn’t going to play anymore.

If he starts trying to speak from authority in the future, he’ll either be laughed or kicked off the stage.

Karl Rove is just a symptom of a system where politics has become nothing more than a high-stakes game of triangulating the electorate for votes. They all do it. The day after the election there was a flurry of handwringing articles about taking abortion, illegal immigration, taxes etc off the table in order to create a kinder, gentler GOP, more suited to today’s voter. Heck, why not just give em free phones too.

Yes, the Republican Party is in trouble. It’s a sad day when the establishment, moderate candidate tells the truth about why he lost, and the party elite run from that truth.

“No! Entitlement gifts from the Santa Claus president had NOTHING to do with Romney’s loss. It was because we’re too extreme, and we need to moderate... and silence Rush Limbaugh! Yes! Then we’ll win!”

The Republican leadership needs to be swept out.

Karl Rove (and a good number of others) need to be ignored until the end of time. They got us into this mess and some STILL quote them here. Amazing to me.

“Yes, the Republican Party is in trouble”

Nah, we need to give people lots of stuff and then tell them to vote for us because the other guy will take it away.

And we need to be visible on all the celeb talk shows and be witty and charming, and hang with the “popular” people.

And never talk about issues - cause most people don’t know there is a problem anyway.

Because most of the dumb electorate doesn’t even know there is such a thing as the Constitution, but they know who Daniel Craig is married too !

“The Republican leadership needs to be swept out.”

ONLY as a chaser to the entire Democrat leadership led by Messiah, Reid and Pelousy. Now that would be one satisfying DUMP!

California and Washington have far too many colleges that graduate liberal, mindless Sociology students who can't get jobs but who will always vote democrat. Their ilk is a plague on society.

No truer words spoken. I have refused to give to the Republicans since the 2004 election; when we got the house, the senate, and the presidency. We had the power and the republican party refused to use it. The national party acted like losers instead of taking advantage of victory and a national mandate. Since that day I have felt that the republicans have acted like a bunch of pussies and have earned absolutely no respect from me, and no support.

To hell with that clean and re-grout crap. I say bulldoze the building and do a total rebuild on a clean site when the site work is completed.
