National Papa John's Appreciation Day (Friday, 11/16/2012 -11:00am until 11:00pm in PST)

Share with ten like-minded people:

Papa Johns has been targeted by the left for a boycott, for simply articulating that ObamaCare would hurt profits and force cutbacks in employee hours. Stand up to this nonsensical and illogical action and support Papa Johns this Friday!

The CEO of Papa John's, John H. Schnatter, has said that he will have to cut employee hours because of Obamacare. Schattner has received intense media scrutiny in addition to being demonized as an evil rich guy by the Left. Obamacare is a fiscal nightmare and because of it, many small businesses aren't hiring now. Some are even closing their doors. Obamacare is now, as John Boehner said, "the law of the land."

In solidarity with John H. Schnatter, we propose that November, 16th, 2012 be National Papa John's Appreciation Day. The Left thinks we are discouraged; they think they have won. Let's send a clear message this Friday, like we did on Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day, that we are here to stay and that we won't stop fighting. There are over 2,600 Papa John's stores in the United States. Let's flood all of them like we flooded Chick-Fil-A. How the event works:

1. "Like" Papa John's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/papajohns

2. Change your Facebook avatar to the Papa Johns logo on Friday.

3. Go into your local Papa John's this Friday, November 16th, and order a pizza. This will only be effective if you go into the store itself. Take a picture of your visit and your pizza, share it on your Facebook wall and/or tweet it with the hashtag #IStandWithPapaJohns

4. If you live further than a half hour from Papa Johns. Participate on twitter with the hashtag #IStandWithPapaJohns

Also: We would like to suggest that anyone participating in this event also purchase an additional pie to share with someone that is struggling right now. Perhaps a neighbor who lost a job, a food shelter, church group, afterschool program for kids in need.... There are many options, but please consider buying a pie to share!

Let's send a clear message this Friday. Thank you, everyone.

Papa Johns is not my favorite pizza, but I will go out today and get one, just to show my support. Obama can suck it.

Most people enjoyed Chic Fa La day because, well, they are awesomely delicious.

Papa Johns...?

But they do make good cheese sticks (basically a small white pizza with cheese only, but pretty yummy).

So I will probably stop in for some to pick up on the way home for pre-dinner snack.

National Papa John’s Appreciation Day?

Hate to be the one to break the news to you, but Papa A$$clown was originally a big supporter of the Marxist-in-Chief and now that the enslavement known as Obamaocare looks to be financially detrimental to his company, he has come out screaming about it. This POS deserves no support whatsoever... its a “reap-sow” type of thingy.

As I stated in an earlier thread... Better ingredients, better pizza, ignorant Communist-enabling CEO a$$clown.

They'll make a sauce less pizza any kind.

They make one of the best franchise pizzas of all time. Great real yeast bread crust, mushrooms that actually have flavor. If you order online you get pizza points for free pizzas.

National Papa John's Appreciation Day
Sorry, but I have zero appreciation for a man who can afford to live in a 40,000 sq ft estate ...
... but has to blame someone else for raising the price of his product.

Woah, I had to double check my address by, I thought I was reading DU.

So he should sell his house so he can afford demands placed on him by the Federal Government, huh?

Sounds like you agree some what with obama’s wealth redistribution.

I don't think the appreciation day will have the support that Chick Fil A Day had. Different sentiment.

PJ Pizza is pretty bland. All crust and little topping. We stopped ordering from them a few years ago.

Side note: I wonder if Peyton Manning regrets investing in 22 PJ Franchises here in Colorado?

Moronic liberal class-warfare, hating the rich... It is a GOOD thing that someone of national prominence is bringing the issue to the country's attention.

And I'm GLAD he lives in a mansion. He is a self-made man. I want MANY more successful entrepreneurs like him in my country!!!

As others pointed out above, he was also a big Obama supporter. I also consider this to be a good thing. The more Obama folk that leave his planation, the better!!!

How anyone on this site could be against a successful entrepreneur who is speaking against ObamaCare is beyond me. Even FR is in decline in the Age of Obama.

The man bought that with legally earned profits. What size house would you find acceptable for him to have? Would 4000 sq ft be acceptable to you? Perhaps 2500 sq ft? I'd bet that a house 1 sq ft SMALLER than yours would be just fine! Obama is the bad guy here, not a successful pizza mogul.

Papa John’s also treats its mystery shoppers very shabbily.

When Papa John discontinued the ground beef topping, I switched to Domino’s.

Absolutely gorgeous property!

I gotta say, he certainly has my taste in castles,
what with all the garden paths and ponds, foot bridges, etc.! Love it!

But wonder why two homes side by side like this -
His and Hers mansions . . . ultimate man cave,
his own private golf resort? Curious.

Your argument might make sense if the Donald Trump and Wayne Allyn Root fanboys here would stop kissing their butts. Trump was gushing about Obama and Pelosi when they first took power and Root joined the left in ridiculed Palin's qualifications and helped cause Obama to win NC in 2008 because he and Bob Barr ran on the Libertarian ticket. Both Trump and Root later reinvented themselves as fierce Obama critics and now a bunch of freepers love them.

Had one Papa John’s pizza last night and asked the delivery man: Are you busy? He replied “Very.” I told him it is PJ Appreciation Day and he said that is what I heard. The teenager on the phone was terrible taking my order but I remember being young and flustered and would order again only due that though.
