IF the Dome of the Rock is hit by a salvo of Hamas rockets, the damage(!) will be instantly blamed on the IDF. The NY Times, MSNBC (etc) and the left will go apoplectic blaming Israel for deliberately destroying a Muslim Holy Place. CNN, too—all the alphabet networks will go 24/7.
The Muslims in Jerusalem will riot and throw rocks at Israeli firemen striving to minimize damage to the Muslim Holy Site.
The UN will meet to protest the Israeli desecration act.
In other words, everything as usual.
