Video of Car Bombing of Hamas Military Wing Commander
We've never seen anything quite like this. The verified social media accounts of the Israeli Defense Forces are providing live updates on a concerted military effort against Hamas. Using the hashtag #PillarOfDefense, the verified Twitter account @IDFSpokesperson is posting ominous messages, headline-style updates, and YouTube videos of strikes.
It's brilliant in its way. By controlling the messaging so tightly, the IDF ensures that the media coverage of the operation is framed the way Israel wants it. Why dig deeper when the information is so carefully presented right there? That's a rhetorical question, of course. The PR move here is as devastating as the operation.
We recommend that no Hamas operatives, whether low level or senior leaders, show their faces above ground in the days ahead. 14 Nov 12

The stream of tweets began with background information on the operation, explaining that Operation Pillar of Defense is in retaliation against Hamas rocket attacks.
This IDF operation against terrorist orgs in #Gaza comes after a month of frequent rocket attacks against #Israel. idfblog.com/facts-figures/ 14 Nov 12

After providing the background info, the account announced that "the IDF has embarked on Operation Pillar of Defense," insisting that "all options are on the table," including a ground operation "if necessary."
The next tweet shared this intense, 10-second aerial video of a pinpoint strike on a vehicle reportedly carrying Ahmed Jabari, head of what the IDF calls the "Hamas Military Wing."
Immediately following that post, the IDF followed up with a blog post profiling Jabari. Jabari was in charge of the well-known operation that captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit in 2006 outside of the Gaza Strip. Jabari personally escorted Shalit to the Rafah Crossing with Egypt when Shalit was released in a prisoner exchange.
The IDF then offered this statement in an image engineered to go viral:
Ahmed Jabari: Eliminated. pic.twitter.com/sCnQnKkM
Beautiful video of Ahmed Jabari's car going up in flames. He died too quickly.
Nice! Way to go IDF.
!! Israel !!
Thankful the footage is getting out there, no thanks to msm.
Call that guy toast!
Now THERE’S a video that’ll make the muzzies go wild!................
MUZZIES GONE WILD!
I heard that the Israelis have also killed all the terrorists who captured Corporal Shalit. OUTSTANDING!
A: His a$$.
If we stop aiding Israel, or turn against her as I believe Obama intends to do, it will hurt us a lot more than it will hurt Israel. 3000 years ago God told Abraham and his descendants, "I will bless him (nations) that bless you and curse him that curses you." Other than the hand of God how can anyone explain how tiny Israel with 7 million population has totally defeated every coalition of Islamic nations that has tried to annihilate her in numerous wars from day one in 1948 until now? 1.2 billion Islamics vs 7 million Israelis, and every defeat cost the Islamics more territory. There's something more than military superiority involved in that scorecard.
I wouldn’t even pit the US forces against Israel.
Jabari's excruciatingly painful death was just the beginning of his punishment, God will handle it from here on and eternity is a looong time. The long running Hamas policy of deliberately targeting rockets on Israeli schools and playgrounds will no doubt earn him an especially warm place in hell.
Brilliant .... we need to figure out things like this to get around the “presstitutes” who define the ‘news’ in this country. Twitter is so VERY popular ... a lot of people will see it who aren’t linked in with cable TV, print media, etc. The ‘retweet’ means it can go viral in a heartbeat.
BTW, notice the attacks from Gaza didn’t start up until AFTER Obama was re-elected? They know Omuslim won’t come to Israel’s aid in a meaningful way.
President Obama has made squeaky little mousy approval noises about “Israel’s right to defend herself” lately. I suppose he’s noticed that his almost singlehanded installment of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Middle East has resulted in things like BENGHAZI and this.
Even more emphatic is that Hamas made a blanket statement after the election that they will never recognize Israel,
never negotiate with them under any circumstances. This of course has everything to do with their brother-in-arms in the White House.
Bravo IDF ! !
