Whats happening with Hostess Brands is a microcosm of whats wrong with America, as Bain-style Wall Street vultures make themselves rich by making America poor, Trumka said in a public statement. Crony capitalism and consistently poor management drove Hostess into the ground, but its workers are paying the price. Hey, Trumka, if you and your union are so business-saavy, why don't you buy the Hostess assests and make it work.

No, he wants Obama to seize the assets and give them to the Baker’s Union.

Great post. I spent my entire working career listening to UAW types talk about how things were ALWAYS the fault of management.
If Baraq can pony up hundreds of million for his green energy companies that create dozens of jobs, why not for 18,000 union members? Call ‘em GREEN TWINKIES !!

Great question!
BTW, I believe that once a company goes into bankruptcy all contracts become null and void, like the union contract.
That means that the union can buy the company, and in order make it profitable they would have to hire hire non union workers. That’s the solution.(SARC)
