This is just partial retirement for the Union Workers. Now they get Unemployment, plus food stamps, plus who knows what else, to sit home and watch TV all day for 99 weeks. You betcha they are happy.
Not for me, but if you are a lazy slacker, there are much worse things than being paid a small stipend not to work for 2 years.
It gets better.. I recently unfriended someone on FB that is in a union. His union has been playing a game with most of their work force.
Get um a gig that lasts at least 15 weeks and 1 day... Then put them back on unemployment. When it’s about to run out, back to work for 15 weeks and a day.
They have been doing this for 4 years and he’s happy to sit on his ass and play xbox..
