Old Soviet jokes become the new American reality

The six contradictions of socialism in the United States of America: •America is capitalist and greedy – yet half of the population is subsidized. •Half of the population is subsidized – yet they think they are victims. •They think they are victims – yet their representatives run the government. •Their representatives run the government – yet the poor keep getting poorer. •The poor keep getting poorer – yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about. •They have things that people in other countries only dream about – yet they want America to be more like those other countries.

47% of the country can’t even qualify for the old Soviet saying,”We pretend to work and they pretend to pay us.”
They just park their ass on the couch and wait for the check to come.

Only a person who lived through the Soviet system can put it so succinctly.

Not only are we going to make jokes like the Soviets, we are going to get by as they did; by living “na levo.” We will have an underground barter economy where everybody’s real job is the work they do “on the side.” We also have to bribe the bureaucrats to look the other way. After all, they want tomatoes and whiskey, too.

In all the years of this country’s existence, you have to marvel at the number of people in whom this country has inspired hope. Not only the hope of living here one day or working to try to bring our way of life to their own countries but even the hope that knowing something EXISTS brings.

All of that lost for a free cell phone.

I always say this is the first communist revolution I have seen based on the idea of not working. Usually, they glorify work and use the new enthusiasm (in the beginning) to get the useful idiots to do stuff.

Sit on your ass and do nothing, for the motherland. Not sure how sustainable that's gonna be.

Chinese families will be telling their children one day, “Eat all that food on your plate. Don’t you know there are people in America starving.” /half sarcasm

Don’t you know there are people in America starving.

The joke is that the "starving" Americans will all weigh over 250 pounds.

The Unions in America are no joke....look at what the "bakers Union" did to the Hostess company....I hope those workers who followed that union over the cliff never get their jobs back...they don't deserve them. The ripples from that dumb bunch of Bakers Union rules hurt their country. How many people are aware how self-serving union rules across the nation are....in theaters you can't move ONE prop without that union having ONE man there to move it...because of the unions the cost of everything has doubled and tripled to the benefit no one except Union Hierarchy. Unionism is creeping Socialism/Communism...not a free market as in Capitalism.

Meanwhile in other News, Obama’s NLRB has approved a plan to turn over workers’ contact information (phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses) to Union organizers who target their employers for unionizing activities. Lovely! Can you spell “intimidation”? I knew you could!

Unionism is creeping Socialism/Communism...

Unionism is government sanctioned protection racket!!! The Mafia figured out how to keep profiting and have the government be the enforcers. The Mafia (unions) share profits with politicians in form of campaign contributions. Neat and clean and above the law!!!

"to the benefit no one except Union Hierarchy"

There it is. No one profits except the union bosses. They have their fat cat salaries, pensions and lifestyles. Everyone else in the union has to Eat Sh!t.
