FORT PIERCE — Circuit Court Judge Larry Schack has denied a motion by Democrat Patrick Murphy to halt the recount of early votes in St. Lucie County.
About 4:15 p.m., the judge made his ruling, saying if Murphy loses because of the recount, he still can contest the results of the election.
Meanwhile, workers in the Supervisor of Elections office on Okeechobee Road continued recounting the early votes for the tight District 18 congressional race.
Early Saturday morning, the Murphy campaign team announced they had filed an preliminary injunction to halt the recount, saying it was not legal.
Schack began the hearing in the early afternoon. The Murphy team won the first round, when Schack ruled against the county's request to quash Murphy's subpoena of Canvassing Board member Judge Kathryn Nelson. Nelson voted against recounting all eight days of early ballots Friday night, but was outvoted by the other two board members.

Our winning number is 3,308
Our winning magic number is 1,907 (still a recount)
Our mandatory recount number is 1,654
254 more votes needed to kick in a three county
mandatory recount of every ballot cast.
If there is a vote swing of just 127 ballots
then we will recount the whole Congressional District 18.
(vote swing means if Murphy lost a vote, and West gained a vote
that is a two vote swing, hence double 127= 254)
So in St. Lucie County:
West......... 52,672
Murphy....... 65,567
difference....(12,895) if this number drops below 12,641
there will be a mandatory recount.
If the (12,895) drops to 9,587 Allen West is the winner, no recount.

She got 10,000 more votes than Obama in this election while her Republican opponent got 15,000 less than Romney.

Last time Boehner walked out on Obama because the Speaker refused to raise taxes.
You won't be able to read this in too many places but Obama was furious because Boehner refused to take Obama's calls for some time after that.
my voting station changed to Palencia in the nomination process but I got to see the polls workers.
Went this time and there were many poll workers I had never seen,.
Had one woman standing outside shouting to people to take her Dem info.
When we got inside there was a huge hispanic woman, boobs hanging out and make up galore, trust me she stuck out.
She tried to give my wife a hard time and told my wife she could not use the voting station next to me or use my sample ballot I had filled out.
Thankfully she got told off another poll worker we knew that my wife can do that.
Find out later that some of these new poll workers were brought in to do the job and that they were all Dems.
Seems to me that even in our very republican county the Dems were still trying crap.
BTW HERE is our county but notice the little blue area and it is little.
Yes king street where the small black population lives and Flager college where I ran into two students from OH and who were bragging how they voted in their home state OH and then voted in our county , our state FL too.

should be one day voting, a cop at every station and once those polls close the votes are counted and then locked up if there needs to be a re-count.
Also these Dem counties were giving away ballots ot people in line and not checking ID plus they stayed open for two extra days in violation of state law and only Dems were notified of this.
Not to mention the bag of a 1000 votes found in the corner of a room in a bag.
Please all of you call the Gov of FL and demand him do an investigation into this.

trouble wiht just a re-count is how illegals, made up votes, made up people, those voting more than once etc will still be counted.
I;d liek to see all votes counted and then cross checked off the voter registration rolls and lets see how many people were legal to vote and how many were just made up votes.
Heard in her election she got more votes than obama but the republican who ran against her got less than Romney by a huge margin, is this right?

Romney did not lose this county by much really so how many votes were actually legal and it seems this woman has been busy screwing the public out of their votes and she shoudl face a long prison term and lets put notice on the other Dem counties in WI, FL, OH, VA who all did the same crap

notice how Dade, Broward and Palm had some of the lowest turnouts which goes in the face of how we nevr got our votes out
Also those 3 counties are all Dem controlled counties and mainly Dem voters which they needed.
Actually Palm had the 4th lowest turnout , so no wonder obama kept going to Dem counties beofre this election, he was trying to shore up his base which he did not have.

Boehner would not be SOH if not for the Tea Party movement, yet he CLEARLY does not like the Tea Party and people of principle like West. He views them as obstacles to compromise and appeasement.
