When did Mitt become a conservative? I know he played on tv during the primaries. All Martinez was saying is that the GOP needs to expand its base, which it does need to do. Unfortunately deporting or causing the self-deportation of 12 million people is not realistic. And demanding that it happens serves no useful purpose.

We need some one that can appeal to those persons out in various hoods who won’t spend much effort to understand the ideology of the candidate. Most voters decide based on soundbites and pop culture snippets. To elect someone the GOP must represent as appealing to those with a 5 minute attention span.
it really does not make any difference what Republican policies are or what color the candidates are. The press is against us. We need to convert or at least improve the press.
