Why don’t the Republicans just run David Letterman and be done with it?
I'm surprised they don't try as that suggestion is pretty much indicative of the GOP mindset. If the GOP is going to win elections they need to be “cool” enough for the people who wont agree with folks like me to at least get their attention.
The novelty of GOP politicians showing up on SNL and the View etc will get their foot in the door..its about a sale of ideas and as your door to door vacuum salesman will tell you 50% of the sale is that foot in the door
He’s certainly old, white, male, and liberal enough for them.
