Skip to comments.Video: Sophisticated Hamas Underground Missile Launchers

The sophisticated underground rocket launcher system in Gaza has been exposed by the terrorist organization in a video it released Saturday.
The video indicates the amount of effort and money that Hamas invested in its anti-Israel military infrastructure that is partly financed by foreign aid and transfers by Israel of taxes collected on behalf of the Ramallah-based Palestinian Authority, which funnels part of the funds to Hamas.
The Israeli Air Force has knocked out a number of the underground sites, but it is not known how many remain.
Hamas has copied the Hizbullah tactic used in the 2006 Second Lebanon War, when Israeli intelligence was surprised by the use of underground bunkers and tunnels against the army.

I’ve never understood why Israel doesn’t go in and uproot this nonsense once and for all.
A jerry-rigged homemade launcher made out of welded steel and a cinder block underground room with an electric motor lift mechanism. It’s as unsophisticated as the rockets themselves. No doubt it is hard to see from the air, but it must have one heck of a heat signature after the rockets are fired.
If they can use Iron Dome to intercept missiles in flight, the should be able to target the launch sites quickly. My concern is about the number of coincident launches. I suspect there is a swarm strategy out there which may appear shortly.
Yes, they need a -very- large DMZ. Several miles stripped of all cover, vegetation, buildings, and bulldozed as flat as possible. The land should all come from the Palestinian side.
This foolishness needs to end.
The old MLRS system we had 20 years ago had amazing counterbattery rosponse capability. In addition to Iron Dome, there needs to be immediate and overwhelming counterbattery fire, within a minute or two of every launch.
The muzzie men have the time to do this sort of thing because they don’t have to hold jobs and work for a living.
They live on handouts from stupid and anti-semitic US politicians.
Ever notice in the newsreels how they are ready to swarm every car struck by an Israeli missle? In an instant they come out the woodwork like swarms of cockroaches no matter what the time. Without having to work they are always ready to go by the thousands.
Then the hordes run through the streets carrying the shrapnel blown up car parts cursing Israel and the US for the TV cameras.
The next day they are at the UN calling us cheapskats for not sending them more handouts.
They were propping rockets up on wooden frames.
Do they even have several miles?
Secretary of State is more sophisticated, here she is observing the situation
fta ...and money that Hamas invested in its anti-Israel military infrastructure that is partly financed by foreign aid...
And that includes the billions given to them in US foreign aid!
If the House and Senate really are serious about reducing spending, foreign aid is a huge target.
Without Palestinians, Gaza could become a beach-front tourist destination with hotels and golf courses.
Money from Norway, for example.
Just days ago, the Norwegian King awarded the highest decoration of the land to a muslim convert - Trond Ali Linstad - who wants the jews gone. It blew up in the royals face, prompting a withdrawal of the honor.
Now, the Norwegian “Christians” (the newspaper “Vårt Land” among others) are up in arms over the slight to the muslim.
Europe needs a severe spanking.
Would not be one bit surprised that some of these weapons that are raining down on Israel are those weapons Obama gave to the Libyans, or the rebels in Syria then some how got funneled to these terrorist groups like Hamas.
given the muslim birthrates and the lack thereof of native europeans, they are going to, big time.
