Update: Campaign officials for Patrick Murphy, Democrat candidate for the congressional district 18 race, are calling their candidate the winner because the St. Lucie Canvassing Board has missed the noon deadline to certify results to the state Division of Elections.
Under Florida law, if the deadline passes with final certified results, the unofficial certified results filed last Sunday stand. Those results show Murphy ahead by .58 percent above the .5 percent spread which would trigger an automatic recount.
West officials were not immediately available for comment.
The St. Lucie County Canvassing Board resumed ballot counting this morning in the tight congressional race between Republican Rep. Allen West and Democrat Patrick Murphy under the watchful eyes of dozens of attorneys and supporter of both candidates.
anvassing board member Tod Lowery, who regularly updates the audience on the process, explained that the board still had write-in ballots and other questionable ballots from 8 days of early voting to review before the noon deadline for the states 67 supervisors of elections to submit their final, certified tallies to the state Division of Elections.
Last Sunday, the canvassing board agree to recount ballots cast the last three days of early voting after election officials revealed that machines had been unable to read some of the electronic memory cartridges. Wests attorneys then sought a recount of all early ballots after the elections office admitted double-counting some ballots and ignoring others on election night.

What is the website again for sending West a recount contribution?
They are playing games. He may lose, but at least West is standing up to the massive voter fraud in our country.
I want to see the Republican House start voting to reform voter fraud. We can all it the Allen West bill.
That has to be getting huge by now.
Any links? please!!
Communists in America will always elect communists Democrats. America is finished as a inspired Constitutional land.
Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history... the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom Lucifer.
can you confirm this?
“He may lose”
I wouldn’t surrender, if I were he. If this is what’s called an election, and a ‘recount,’ I would not concede.
Not according to this report listing of precinct by precinct. See Page 2.
Ain't gonna happen because Bonehead would rather a dem hold the seat than West. But we all know that--preaching to the choir here.

“I want to see the Republican House start voting to reform voter fraud. We can all it the Allen West bill.”
Good luck with that! Most are afraid of the democratic machine!
I’m afraid too many conservatives are now addicted to early and easy voting for us to ever see any real reform.
Some FB accounts are open (public). I have no idea whether this one is or not.
Just so you know, Google jumped in and said your page is a reported attack page.
If they now throw the St Lucie votes out because of a missed deadline, then Allen West will win by 10,000 votes or more as he leads by that much in the other two adjoining counties.
They truly are mindless --
Clicked on your link and got a message that it contains malware - fyi
It’s going to take the National Guard stationed in polling locations and vote tabulation sites in every state from start of early voting to the final certifications to reduce ‘RAT fraud. Target of course the urban areas and nearby suburbs where the ‘RATs fester and breed.
