Paula Broadwell arrives back at her brother's Washington D.C. home with husband Scott
Linked arm-in-arm, Paula Broadwell and her husband Scott were seen together yesterday evening for the first time since the news broke of her affair with shamed former CIA Director David Petraeus.
Arriving at her brother's home in the Mount Pleasant suburb of Washington D.C. in a black SUV, the two put on what was a clear show of solidarity as they marched from the garage to the back door of the $2.3 million property.
Since the scandalous revelations surrounding his wife first surfaced just over a week ago, Scott Broadwell has been conspicuous for his absence and his appearance last night indicates that he is standing by the West Point Graduate.
Looking stern and taking the lead from her husband, the Paula Broadwell did not speak to the gathered news reporters as she marched into her sibling's home.
Presumably, the pair had been out that evening, possibly at dinner and it is not clear when Scott arrived at the home or when Paula herself left.

Well, if I were a betting man, i’d give the remainder term of that marriage 12 mos. at most. Of course, if she writes a tell all book, her soon to be ex-hubby will want a piece of that action, so to speak. Saddest part, their two kids. All it takes is one partner to ef up a marriage, and she seems to be doing a tremendous job. It’s all over her husbands face in that photo.
Well she served in the military, after all.

maybe I’m just an old sexist pig and all (pretty likely!) but when I see this woman, the first thought I have is not of her brain. Just sayin’, I’m betting this is not the first time, and maybe like Hillary he’s in it for the ride (package deal), assuming she can take him place he’d never go on his own, so to speak.

AFAIK, she's still a serving Army Reserve intelligence officer. I read where her clearance was suspended, pending an investigation of possible mishandling of classified documents.

She knows she’ll cash in big when she writes her book and gets immediate movie interest. He knows all he has to do is stick around for a while, then collect his half.

She’s going to have trouble explaining the classified on computer at home. Once they established that she copied to a disk or such....and took it home, I’m thinking her career is wrapped up real quick.
I feel bad for the fellow. It doesn’t sound like he has done anything wrong. I can understand a man who has been faithful to his vows (presumably) wanting to keep his family (children) together. Bad enough in ordinary circumstances, unfathomable, with the world looking on.

If he had sex with her in Iraq or Afganistan he violated General order number 1. The same order used to prosecute countless soldiers under his command. He will skate. She will become the scapegoat. Seen it all before.

That picture does not show them linked arm-in-arm; it shows her holding onto his arm. With the way his hand is just jammed into his pocket, she might just as well not even be there.
Heh--she certainly "serviced" in the military.
One of the reasons that adultery is considered criminal--had to do with traditions of honor among *men*. Not to put too sexist a point on it, but "you don't do that to another man."
Wonder if the general has apologized to the wronged husband?
