Former CIA Director David Petraeus, who resigned after admitting to an extramarital affair, has retained powerful lawyer Robert Barnett of the Washington-based Williams & Connolly law firm.
Barnett specializes in crisis management and has represented some of the most powerful political figures in the country, including President Obama; former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush; Hillary Rodham Clinton; Sarah Palin and former Republican Vice President Dick Cheney.

I’m wondering what makes/made this guy so useful/needed for all these people. I don’t think he just sells them bottled political water.
THAT has been my question from the beginning of this thing. It is a simple question. Here it is: Who said NO?
There has certainly been a lot of yakking going on, yet no one has asked, or answered, this one simple question.

Once we know that, then we can start to get more info and understanding of what went on. Now, personally, I think the "smartest guy in the room", the President, is the one who said NO. If it was someone lower, we would know by now because that Chicago group would have already have them twisting alone in the wind.
Do they mean Robert Bennett (Brother of Wm Bennett) of Williams & Connolly? He represented Clinton in the Jones matter, and some other high profile cases
Sex is the distraction.The sex is irrelevant.
There are other, very serious considerations. We have had endless speculation but don’t know what is being covered up.
