Fox News’s now-famous Oct. 26 story on the tragedy of Benghazi carried this headline: “EXCLUSIVE: CIA operators were denied request for help during Benghazi attack, sources say.” Reaction to the story skewed toward the monster revelations in its first paragraph: namely, that the CIA chain of command had told security officials to “stand down” instead of jumping immediately to the assistance of a diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, on the night of Sept. 11. The CIA, too, denied requests for military backup, according to the Fox News story.
Far, far less attention attached to a contention deep down in the Fox story:
According to a source on the ground at the time of the attack, the team inside the CIA annex had captured three Libyan attackers and was forced to hand them over to the Libyans. U.S. officials do not know what happened to those three attackers and whether they were released by the Libyan forces.
So the CIA had taken a few detainees. No big deal, right?
Right, until biographer Paula Broadwell came along. As news of her affair with CIA Director David Petraeus emerged, folks started mining the Broadwell public record. As first reported by IsraelNationalNews.com, Broadwell had given some remarks at the University of Denver on Oct. 26, the same day of the Fox News piece that frames this sprawling series of posts. And Broadwell was up on the news; she took a question about Petraeus’s handling of Benghazi and steered her audience to Fox!
So the most recent news that came out was a Fox News report by Jennifer Griffin. I got it on a distribution list I’m on, and it has some pretty insightful stuff in it, if you want to look for it.

We need to get back to the beginning statements of all of this.
Remember obama said (bragged) he called this terrorism in the Rose Garden the next morning??
Then went on to say it was a video!
Did all of the German people in the 1930s and 1940s hate the Jews? I don’t think so. Then how could the German media and people look away as the Jews were abused and killed? They looked away because the National Socialist Party (Nazis) promised them a golden future. Don’t the Democrats also promise a golden future? The Nazis were stealing people’s property and killing them, but that was OK because in the long run, they were going to give the German people a glorious new nation. The Nazis had “A higher calling” just like the news lady said that Obama has “A higher calling”. Well, media, we have four dead Americans in Benghazi. I’ll accept the number I heard that the thugs lost 80 people. How many Libyans have died because Obama wanted the government of Libya overthrown? And for what? For what? All this sneaking around and all these lies and all this coverup and all of this brainless partisanship by the old media. For what? The brave new government in Libya? Thousands dead and all the media can do is cover for the Democrats? How childish. How very childish.
As to your first sentence: did the Germans hate the Jews? A good man did in fact, although the French hated them more. Anti-semtism in Europe during the period between the wars was epidemic.
If there is a national security problem in Libya, then it’s there because of the Obama administration. Gadaffi didn’t declare war on us. I wrote that, “It’s OK to kill enemy Soldiers with Democrat bombs, but not with Republican bombs”.
Now, it’s OK to kill ANYONE with Democrat bombs. My God media, you’re covering for murderers. Have you no shame? Have you no sense of humanity? Stop for just one minute and think....why did Obama make war on Libya? What was the reason? I’m an old Soldier and I understand that people die in war. I have very little sympathy for young men who want to kill Americans. But those Libyan Soldiers we bombed and killed. Were they trying to kill Americans? They were fathers and brothers and sons. We made enemies of their families for as long as they live....and for what? The great freedom we now see in Libya? Our media should go and hang themselves for buying into these Democrat grifter lies.
I would take the word of Jennifer Griffin any day, especially that of “stroke-of-the-pen” Panetta.
Yes. I had an exchange of posts with a fellow about abortion. I am strongly against abortion. The other fellow was for it. A kindly poster joined in the discussion and pointed out that some ancient Jews had killed their own children. Now, the kindly poster was also against abortion. He was, I guess, just joining in the conversation. The fellow I was arguing with then wrote something like, “See! Even these religious Jews kill their own children!” the chance to change his mind had been lost by a kindly poster who just wanted to be part of the discussion. I am trying to make the point that our media in the US is behaving like the media in Germany during the 1930s. I think that is extremely dangerous. What are your thoughts on our media being like the media in Germany during the 1930s and ignoring a serious issue which could have dire consequences to our nation?
No one in the press has any curiosity about them? No one wants to hear their version of events?

Meantime; 'normally' this 'group think' MO does not matter per quoting the 'faceless' who shall not be named and hence "the White House" speaks. but Benghazi; far too critical.
Half of the the donkey is missing; MIA that is; and there is no good place to pin it's tail.
In fact; it appears that the tail is missing as well; and it does matter that we have the 'tail' and we pin, right where it belongs.
I want to hear from them, where are they? Does anyone ask? Where’s the media on this question? All we get is silence.
