If the Israelis are going to truly stop this, a thorough ground occupation is the ONLY way to do it. This is a war, and even now, a war can’t be won by air strikes and missiles alone.

So, who makes this sophisticated stuff? I doubt whether it’s a bunch of camel-humping Muslim thugs.

I also doubt that the news media are unable to find out. They just won’t say.

France? Russia? China? Obama?

“...sophisticated underground rocket launcher system...”

Sophisticitated? Give me a break!

1. Dig a hole, long axis oriented toward your target.
2. Get the range from Google Earth.
3. Check the elevation needed in your handy-dandy rocket range manual issued by your supplier.
4. Bolt appropriate sized tubes to old bed frame and add elevation stops.
5. Attach garage door opener mechanism to raise counter-balanced bedframe/launch tubes + rockets.
6. Add a sheet metal cover to keep the camouflage dirt, twigs & leaves out of the hole.
7. Call Al Jazeera and get them to send a videographer to document your “sophisticated rocket launcher”.
8. Sing a few choruses of “Death to All Infidels” then break for lunch.

More like some junk welded together.

We never see the mechanism for elevating ? If any.

My guess, a long lever that is latched to the floor actuated by hand.

The elevation appears to work now lets see the traverse?

What is the function of the cinder block and wooden girder? Has ground pressure overcome the block wall?

Here in Illinois if you go a bit south of I-80 they know how to build a T&E mechanism just for the 4th of July.

A ground occupation would face a continuous series of sniper attacks, IEDs, assassinations, kidnappings, etc.

The real only way to stop it is to drive every Gaza resident across the border into Egypt, and then level Gaza to the ground.

OK, I confess I didn’t watch the video earlier. Not so “sophisticated,” then.

About as "sophisticated" as the special effects from a 1960s James Bond movie, or maybe The Thunderbirds.

The flag was very chilling...

wait - The Thunderbirds were fantastic. Thanks for that link.

So pick on Bond but leave Thunderbirds alone. Next you will take a shot at Fireball XL5. Considering the shoe-string budget of those shows they were amazing.

Looks like that place out in West Texas where they have several Cadillacs half buried in the ground like a car henge. I think they have another one in Nebraska. All that junk sticking in the ground.

I noticed it can’t be reloaded when the platform is closed.

So if it has to be open to reload, how is this better than on the back of a truck that you can move?

These people must think we are soooooo stupid.
