Trillions of dollars of debts will be restructured and millions of financially prudent savers will lose large percentages of their real purchasing power at exactly the wrong time in their lives. Again, the world will not end, but the social fabric of the profligate nations will be stretched and in some cases torn. Sadly, looking back through economic history, all too often war is the manifestation of simple economic entropy played to its logical conclusion. We believe that war is an inevitable consequence of the current global economic situation.

Monday Morning buzzkill.
Just like the last two global economic collapses.
Somebody asked me what comes after a Trillion. I said “world war III”.
Fun Fact: Adjusted for inflation $5T USD is the amount of money spent by FedGov during ALL of WWII.
Bravo Sierra. The last 2 WWs had nothing to do w debt restructuring. It was all about - I suggest you read up on Muslim politics and nazism.
You may want to study up on the Weimer Republic and the concept of “Hyperinflation” before you dismiss the idea out of hand. There were precursors to the Nazi’s gaining power in 1933 after its leadership got done with prison stretches 8 years before that. You should also do some studying on the Great Depression; it was not just an american phenomenon.
As for WWI, in 1914 a lot of the europeans were feeling the ill effects of measures such as income taxes, central banking, universal medical care, and other features of the welfare state that we partially adopted in 1913 (and that screwed us 25 years later) and that the europeans had went all in on in the 1880’s...
Hmmm...
How does an economically weak, overwhelmingly militarily powerful nation deal with it’s economic problems.
Always.
(But not this time, oh no, we’re special LOL!)

The next war is not that different. We have a marxomuslim in our white house seeking to remove America from the global stage.
Net result? Peace and stability are removed. Everyone then jockeys for position. Then, Iraq takes it nuclear pushing islam on the world, and voila!
Obama will precipitate global suffering like the world has NEVER seen. UN paralleled. Millions upon million will die unnecessarily through direct impact, then there is secondary suffering with no care....then the looting and raiding,,, and then who ever is left over will starve.
Death and suffering like the world has never seen....and possibly never see again....
“Thank” you Barack Hussein Mohammet Bin-Ghazi Obama
Yep, I’ve been saying this for four years at least.
There is no way to fix the fiscal Armageddon. Economic problems of that magnitude always result in war.
As you noted.
wars are very expensive
Why is Obama in Asia?.
The rise of the Nazi Party had EVERYTHING to do with the economic effects of the war reparations debts that the WWI allies imposed on Germany.
It’s all about distracting the masses from the economic disasters and refocusing their attention.
It buys time but yes, increases debt.
goood Gawd.....what is it goood for? absolutely nothing say it again!
Bunch a pissed off people now that our leaders have taxed and spent our futures into the toilet.
Had that on a 45 at one time (yikes)
“Monday Morning buzzkill.”
Majorly.
Scapegoating (as in blaming the GOP and Bush for the economic c,ollapse) may not lead to WWIII but instead to a civil war which is just as scary. While Americans fight each other, other countries will be sharpening their swords and aiming their guns at us.

“Were heading for economic dictatorship”
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/9684778/Were-heading-for-economic-dictatorship.html
I expect it to start on December 21st. That’s when the Miyans said it would come.
We are already in a World War. Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria. Lots of distance between those countries. And I’m not even counting the countries were messing around in quietly. How would that “Draft” thing play out in America now? And, by the way, in order to be fair, we would need to draft our young women now. Think of the young people, male and female, that you know. Do you see them walking proudly to the induction centers? Can you imagine the ACLU meltdowns when the Drill Sergeants start screaming at inner city girls to run faster?
I would be donning the tinfoil had right about now, except the last time I heard such a prediction it was on a radio talk show, and 9-11 happened about sixty days later.
And WWI had as much to do with British mercantilism and colonialism as it did with anything else. They deeply resented German efforts to business around the world. One example, prewar, the Germans were planning a rail line to Baghdad. The British saw this as a trade threat and moved to stop it.
This kind of competition was rising worldwide at that time and the British hated it
Making the world safe for democracy is a joke. The average British soldier had no right to vote unless he owned property. The average soldier German had possessed the right to vote for over 30 years. One of the main British allies was Russia. At that time Russia was basically the last of the pure Monarchies of Europe. People in India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Trans-Jordan, etc would all be very surprised to find that England was trying to establish any sort of democracy, much less anything like the American version.
It clearly wasn’t a war to make the world safe for democracy. It was motivated by baser interests.
And the Allies ignored American beliefs and pushed crushing reparations on Germany and as the Allies divided up German possessions in the Pacific, they made a deliberately insulting point of giving none of the spoils to our WWI ally,,, Japan.
The stage was now set for a world war.
Yes, WWI was economic, and WWII was caused by WWI.
It is more then just the collapse of the worlds economies that eventually causes world wars. It is also the rise of statism that tends to follow the economic collapse. Stronger central governments always increase the possibilities of war between states. It is when central governments are weak, that the world tends to be at peace. In other words, it takes a big government to have a big war.
“And, by the way, in order to be fair, we would need to draft our young women now”
Funny you mention that. In the post Vietnam era, the last ruling on the draft goes there. Some enterprising boy was suing because it wasn’t equal protection that boys had to register, and girls didn’t.
The court said it was constitutional that women were not required to register, because they were prohibited by law from combat roles. Thats it, the sole reason.
All these Paula Broadwells, the Tailhook women, the Jessica Lynchs, all the women our military all stylishly deployed into combat zones mostly succeeded in laying the groundwork for femaes inclusion in the next draft.
That may be fine to some, but it’s simply a fact that there are lots of American daughters who are not good infantry material. (i remember when that was a compliment)
“Why is Obama in Asia?”...
Why is Obama anywhere?
There is already a World War going on. Islam vs civilization.
I predicted this the first time Obama was (s)elected.
Russia wants their Empire back.
China wants Taiwan.
India and Pakistan want to nuke each other.
A number of nations are ready for civil war.
Al Quaeda is stronger and more widespread than ever.
I am surprised it has taken this long, but the Israel/Gaza conflict is lighting of the fuse.
Get ready, it’s coming.
Which also led to the -punative in intent- imposition of marking goods "Made in Germany". Well, that backfired. (My great-grandfather was lead engineer on that Baghdad railway, btw.)
^^^ punative s/b punitive.
When he’s out of the country he’s always up to no good,it may take about a week to show up.
