While New Jersey Residents Suffer, Governor Christie Goes on Saturday Night Live

Tens of thousands of New Jersey residents are without power. Many have lost homes and everything else that they have. Some don’t have enough to eat and others are struggling to stay warm.

This is not the time for a responsible leader to go do his self-promoting shtick on Saturday Night Live. But Christie seems so tone deaf that he puts his self-promotion ahead of anything else.

In order to go into politics and aspire to high office you have to have a big ego. In his case, his ego is far bigger than his brain.

Maybe they would not be still in the dark if they had not chased out non-union EMERGENCY crews

Some dumbass even protested electric workers who CAME TO HELP by screaming obscenities and calling them “scumbag” and “scabs”

I can see their union complaint IF they were taking union jobs away but they were only FOR THE EMERGENCY

Are those protesters going to be held responsible if anyoine died in the cold due to them chasing out EMERGENCY responders?

At least he waited that long, plus he’s been going around the clock since the storm hit. Look at Obama, 4 men killed in Benghazi and he goes off on a fundraiser.

Just taking a page out of Obama’s playbook.

Going on comedy shows worked for Obama when Americans were murdered in Benghazi.

his biggest problem is THE MEDIA - he is starting to listen to them too much and fall for their stunts

Here is how it goes:

Libtard media - “Come on SNL - it will be so much fun!”

Gov. “Ok”

Libtard media: “I CANT BELIEVE YOU WENT ON SNL WHILE PEOPLE ARE DYING”

Like many other RINOS (McCain being the classic example), he doesn't realize he's become the media's useful idiot. He enjoys the praise and thinks it means he's won them over. He fails to recognize that, as soon as he's no longer useful (or has to run against an actual Democrat), he will be relegated to their scrap heap and back to being hated and reviled.

"Writing the book on how to commit career suicide

Could be....however, I think a more obvious explanation is the attempt to diminish the fat guy's standing in the Republican Party. The Vice President gets a pass on just about all his foot in mouth events....Obama, on his trip to Burma, manhandles and mispronounced the name of Aung San Suu Kyi, the Nobel laureate and former political prisoner who has led the struggle for a free and democratic Burma. Obama also botched the name of his official host, Burma’s reformist new president, Thein Sein. Write down how many times you read about that as opposed to how many time Chris Cristie's name makes the Mainstream news.

Nothing new. In fact, Rudy Giuliani did about the same thing following 9/11 on Saturday Night Live as well. I guess they’re both similar politicians.

SNL is the Liberals’ rubber stamp of ‘cool’.

If it ever meant anything (with ME, it never did) it doesn’t matter any more.

Once you routinely reduce life and human issues to a one dimensional, homogeneous slurry of puerile idiocy, your reason for being just went out the window!

I guess that’s the level of comprehension for the SNL audience and unfortunately, American voters.

This fat bastard is dead to me. If, by some chance, he gets nominated as the Republican candidate for President I will sit out the election. I could NOT vote for this pig.

Rudy Guiliani did about the same thing...

Actually, the original unexcerpted article addressed that:

Yes Giuliani went on Saturday Night Live a few weeks after September 11, but that wasn’t a series of gags, it was a serious tribute to those who died in the attacks. It had very little in common with Christie showing off the same routine that he does every time he’s in the vicinity of a video camera

He has got to be the most egotistical person in the world. Now the question is “will he make fun of the storm”? Doubtful but I’ll bet he’ll make fun of kissing obama’s ass and that’s just as bad.

Which is where I differ on Giuliani as opposed to Christie, Giuliani had some sense of manners. Sure, he was leftist in many ways, but at least he had some personal etiquette in what he did, and had some appeal to the NYC populace. Christie, on the other hand, is pretty much sealed to lose, the NJ Democrats will have the last laugh regarding him.
