Jane Fonda's New Regret: 'Sitting On That Gun in North Vietnam'
breitbart.com ^ | 11/19/12 | John Nolte

Well, give the actress credit. This is a step up from what we learned in Patricia Bosworth's Biography, "Jane Fonda," where the star reportedly said: "My biggest regret is I never got to f*** Che Guevara."

Personally, I don't think Fonda regrets sitting on that anti-aircraft gun. I think she regrets being caught sitting on that anti-aircraft gun. Nothing in Fonda's statements or subsequent actions has ever shown me that she understands just how evil that act was.

And why she hasn't been tried and deported for treason is beyond me.

I hope she finally gets rectal cancer from her little sojourn on that AAA gun! Her only contribution to society was her opening sequence in “Barbarella” where she gave a free shot to the camera.

“...cause when I came down with a social disease a few months later my boyfriend told me I must have gotten it off that gun”

Are you sure?... why would the South name the city after him if he was so bad?

That's funny. That is what I would expect to hear from young (or old these days) misinformed people.

I wish she had been sitting on a bouncing betty instead.

“Nobody likes a traitor.”

Nope. I think that has gradually dawned on her. Just the fact, not the reasons why. She hasn’t reached her yet or she would feel guilt and perhaps remorse instead of mere regret.

How many people are ACTUALLY DEAD thanks to this idiot woman’s actions?

She was on the wrong side OF EVERY ISSUE all her life, and people paid the price in lost lives, lost business, etc...

Remember “china syndrome” - no more nuclear power plants in the USA since that stoopid-ass movie

AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON FAT WOMEN IN SPANDEX following her ‘exercize’ videos...

Who cares what that traitor says. If she was ever ashamed of her behavior and needed forgiveness she would have quietly donated every single penny she ever made to veteran’s organizations. She is nasty inside and out.

> “I was in Ho Chi Minh recently and it was in the SOUTH...why would the South name the city after him if he was so bad?”

The South didn’t pick the name. That was done by the North. The people there still refer to the city as Saigon. It’s only on official stuff (mail, etc.) that Ho Chi Minh is used.

It is some small consolation to me to know that
she realizes for the rest of her life she is vilified
as a traitor and skiank, and that when she dies no one
will be able to clean the yellow stains from her grave.

I would be serving my 25th year in prison if I’d killed
her when I had the chance but I figure it’s better this
way.

This is the fourth or fifth time that Jane has mentioned her “regrets” over sitting on the NVA 57mm ADA gun during Vietnam.

Every time once you get through the script you discover that she only egrets having to pay for her actions.

The first time she apologized was when her exercise tape sales took a hit and that was in the 1980s. Now, effectively 30 years later she is still crying crocodile tears.

But, I have to give it to her, she will take the impact of that act to her grave because there are too many of us that remember and resent her acts.

Naps, you might want to do some research before posting. Ho Chi Minh was a Communist leader of North Vietnam; Saigon, the capitol of South Vietnam, had its name changed to Ho Chi Minh city shortly after it was captured by North Vietnam. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ho_Chi_Minh

“...the level of burning, seething hatred that many of the guys harbor for her after all these years.”

Including mine. I was flying missions in MR III in 1972 the same time the communist b!tch was in Hanoi betraying the POWs. A year later Fonda called them “hypocrites and liars” when they told of years of horrific torture.

Why Hanoi Jane wasn’t offed years ago by some homeless vet is beyond me.

FWIW I still have a VHS from 1988 called “Jane Fonda: An Unauthorized Biography”. She hasn’t changed one bit. In that vid Fonda meets with a group of vets & says she’s sorry if they are offended at what she did. GRRRRR!!!!

Some posts sound as though she’s already dead. I wish.

I am sure this “regret” is because of her new film. She is playing Nancy Reagan. I am sure she regrets anything that will cause her income level to drop.

Good afternoon....as people will be pissing on her resting place for years to come.

I pray to the Lord I outlive her. I'll probably have to bring a chair, cooler and sunscreen.

The ignoble Hanoi John Kerry will also be "sharing" that honor. The grave caretakers will have to change the sod growing over his grave on a regular, almost daily basis.

Multitudes of Vietnam veterans (myself included) have nothing but utter contempt for this vile, evil man and for the heinous, traitorous, Anti-American, wicked lies he told about us before Congress. His treacherous, false testimony which aided and abetted our enemies in time of war was directly responsible for the massive mistreatment of Vietnam veterans and military personnel, which took place throughout the United States, at the hands of American citizens for years.

I have no doubt multitudes of Vietnam veterans and their extended families will give Kerry the "honor" he so richly deserves by making numerous "deposits" upon his grave for decades to come.
