A ceasefire between Israel and Gaza could go into effect “within several hours”, according to a Monday night report by the Al-Arabiya network.
The report said that the forum of nine senior Israeli ministers was expected to approve an initial outline for a ceasefire with Hamas.
According to the outline offered by Egypt and described in the report, Israel will stop the air strikes on Gaza and stop the targeted killings of senior members of Hamas and other terrorist organizations in Gaza, in exchange for a complete cessation of the rocket fire into Israel.

So Israel pulls up short again. Israel waited too long. The time allowed the rest of the world to organize opposition and pressure her to stop. In particular, it allowed Obama to work with those honest brokers Egypt and Turkey (mega sarcasm) to work out a cease fire so Hamas can rearm and coordinate with the surrounding front line states in the next attack.

It costs a lot of money to move 30k plus to the front, only to back down, knowing you will be back there in a week.
This ain’t a cease-fire, it’s a chance for Hamas to regroup and rearm. Then repeat the process again. Rinse, repeat.

That the loss of the four was significant to Gaza Arab terrorists was evident from the fact that Hamas denied that the IDF had eliminated the four. In a statement, Hamas said that it could not confirm that the four had been killed by the IDF, and said that they were “out of communication range.”
What is there to negotiate? If Hamas quits firing missiles Israel will quit killing Hamas if Hamas is lucky. The absolute only reason that Hamas will negotiate anything is that Israel is killing them with great efficiency and they are scared shi-less that Israeli tanks will soon be rolling through Gaza.
That's because their communication antennas were pointed sideways and/or up. To establish communications, the antennas need to be pointed down.

The F’n Muslim Brotherhood has been manipulating the ceasefire talks though leaks and misinformation.
It is hideous that Israel is even at the table with two related Muslim terrorist organizations.
The solution to this situation can only be achieved through military intervention. The core of the problem is Iran, who is supplying the rockets to Hamas and Hezbollah (just wait, they will be firing missiles shortly). Israel can not fight on three fronts at the same time; Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran. Hence, Israel needs to level Gaza. Then clear the north of Hezbollah (I am certain Hezbollah will give Israel an excuse to do so). Finally, it will be Iran’s turn, if they don’t recognize their own defeat in advance and capitulate.
The United States role in this should be to aid Israel in anyway possible. I doubt that will happen under our Muslim Campaigner in Chief.
