Businesses urge Cameron to tame Euroskepticism

Britain would damage its fragile economy and risk isolation if it ended its often stormy relationship with the European Union, business leaders said on Monday (19 November) before critical EU budget talks later this week.

Britain’s main business lobby group urged Prime Minister David Cameron to resist growing “Euroskeptic” calls to cut the island nation’s 40-year ties with a bloc that accounts for half of its trade.

With the anti-European mood growing, opposition Labour leader Ed Miliband pledged not to let Britain “sleepwalk” towards an EU exit that he said would be bad for prosperity and a betrayal of Britain’s national interests.

Anti-EU lawmakers in Cameron’s own Conservative party have urged him to take a hard line in the budget talks and resist EU demands for a real increase. …

So, why don’t the “businessmen” make the argument instead and show the Queen’s subjects what they get from membership in the EU, eh?

There’s so much wrong with this story.

First, it’s written by the lying commies at Reuters.

Then this is next: “Britain’s main business lobby group...”

Who says it’s Britain’s main business lobby group?

The commie snakes at Reuters, that’s who.

You Brits figure it out. Your country. Vote for freedom or slavery. Your culture depends upon you making the right choice.

Do you want outstanding British fish and chips after drinking a few pints at the pub or raw muslim goat scrotum?

It is horrible, isn’t it. And I do often point out that EurActiv itself is pro-EU and against the notion of independent member states. It’s still important to point out what they are trying to do via the media though.

I do occasionally disagree with what you post, sometimes with a good amount of vigor, but that’s just me. Sometimes I go bonkers when some sources aren’t identified as Soros PR sites, spewed out by the commies in New York City. Other than that, it’s always interesting to look at your posts.

Cheers, buddy.
