Your point is right on the mark. Repbulican canditates talk in terms of high minded principles, but that goes over the heads of the illiterati. They need to tell a story about the failures and consequences of liberal policies. It needs to be a better, more compelling story and it has to be a simple message that can be understood the John Stuart and TV sitcom generation.
