How can a parent kill his/her own child? I don’t understand that thought process, if indeed it is a thought

Now they go before a judge. There have been cases in Pakistan where the judges have let parents off for honor killings like this, or even praised them.
I don’t know if that will happen this time. I note that the murderous parents accused a neighbor of killing their daughter. Maybe that’s a no-no.
