Each Thanksgiving, Barry gives away thousands of dollars' worth of turkeys. When the Washington City Paper asked Barry where the money for the giveaway comes from, he refused to answer, adding only a specific group is interested in knowing the source of the funds.
"...only 'liberal white folk'," Barry told the paper.
ABC7 caught up with Barry Monday evening.
"I said something about white liberals are the ones who are who, who raise these questions about who is paying etc," Barry said.
Barry claimed he keeps the source of the money a secret to protect donors from the media. Additionally, he told the Washington City Paper "several would-be donors to his most recently campaign" would not donate; they wanted to keep their names out of his campaign finance reports.

Notice how dreadfully skinny they all are — clearly suffering from malnutrition and starvation. And the threadbare rags...oh, the injustice.

Actually, “liberal” white folks would defend him every step of the way - regardless of where he stole the money from.
The Repubs better find a way NOW; to toss this one back; each and every time; with a line(s) that demolishes this degradation; with abject ridicule - and humor. Time to make these people an object of their own humor; and so demolish their narrative MO's; with a 'swift arrow response'. And we must be relentless. . .
Rush doing his Santa thing; certainly has struck a nerve; and they are already counter punching. (Can we learn something here?)Plenty of truth to Santa; but we need more; to take down the 'arrogance-that-passes-for-wisdom. We do not need to attack the 'Constituency'; messengers and message will do.
Speaking of Santa; too bad, there was no SANTA appearance for this 'turkey line-up'. Would have given it some credibility. Or 'street cred' as the case may be. And those images; the pictures shared; would have added another 'thousand words' to the story.
