Its pretty obvious what bias they were expected to take.

I'm not so sure. Most TV stations have a liberal bias. I'd assume one in Maine would be lib by default. Maybe the new management was trying to make them more "fair and balanced", and the anchors took this as a hard move to the right?

Maybe, but IMO if that were true then, being liberals, they wouldn’t be able to keep themselves from saying so.

I think it depends on the viewers. I live in a pretty conservative area of SC and our news is pretty conservative. They often show stories of local churches with people praising God and even talking about Jesus. You just wouldn’t see that in places like So. Fla. where I am from.

I believe that the new management is made up of left wing control freaks. Per a Daily Mail article the girl once was mistaken for Sarah Palin and was 'honored' by it.
