Almost as irritating as the war on Christmas being waged by certain atheist groups is the war on Thanksgiving dinner being waged by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) as exemplified by its recent demand on President Obama.

I think the local gun clubs should hold a Peta Shoot. The winner gets to dress up the local PETA representative and barbeque him on an open fire spit.
Democrats.
I always crack up when I get to the line about turkeys being “gentle, intelligent” birds. The live turkeys I’ve seen were some of the most ornery cusses in the whole barnyard. Don’t know about intelligent, as I never got around to giving them an IQ test. :-)
We had turkeys when I was a child...and I was taught they were so dumb, they would stand out in the rain, and drown....
Turkeys would eat you if they could.
Of course. Thanksgiving is about God and they can’t stand that.
Who has ever been to a Thanksgiving dinner and been served tofurkey? I’ve heard Don Imus, whose wife is a tyrannical veggietarian or vague-an, say on air that tofurkey tastes horrible.
PITA should come to my house for Thanksgiving dinner.
Where can I send PETA a picture of my beautifully roasted turkey?
Does anybody know PETA’s position on Abortion? Maybe there is an opportunity for some political Aikido here.
Do they support murdering unborn children but protest against ground beef?
Every year the MSM finds some vegan nut who brags about having a Thanksgiving dinner without meat. They have been doing this for over 40 years.
As for the “pardoning” of turkeys by the Presidents, who wants to go to a zoo and pet one of these stinking animals!
Kill’m cook’em, eat’em! That is what they were hatched for!
Hey PETA, I had bacon for breakfast, I’ll have some ground beef based hot-dish (leftovers) for lunch. Planning BBQ chicken for dinner tonight... Tomorrow we’ll have both turkey and ham on the table. On top of the food chain and loving it.
I support PETP. People for the Ethical Treatment of Plants. As part of our mission, we kill and eat animals that would otherwise murder innocent plants.
I’ve always wanted to start a tomato rights organization.
That table is too small for that amount of people and where the hell are the sides. I like sides even better than turkey.....lol.
