The Atheists Humanists Agnostics (AHA) club sent out a campus-wide e-mail announcing the program on Tuesday and promising a “full-out romp against why one of the most beloved people of the century, Mother Teresa, is as Hitchens put it… ‘a lying, thieving Albanian dwarf.’”
Mother Teresa is widely known for founding the Missionaries of Charities, a charity tasked with aiding the poor. She was beatified in 2003 by Pope John Paul II, a step toward possible sainthood.

Atheists on the other hand, only ever criticise, hate, sneer, despise or ridicule.

These people are useless. Too bad they can’t find something constructive and beneficial to do with their time.
It’s goofy enough that these people hate that women. What is really pathetic is that they are planning an event devoted to their hatred. Really strange and telling.
That ten people should be met by 1000 people.

I have several atheist freinds that are twice the model citizens that some so called Christians are.
Just as I don’t let these freaks on a leash determine how I feel or what I think about people in general who don’t believe in God, you shouln’t either.
Eternity is a long time, fellas....you may want to rethink that get-together you have planned to intellectually flog one of God’s chosen messengers on earth...just sayin’...
These people are sad individuals. They really ought to be in awe of this wonderful woman and the amazing things God did in her life.
To be so crass about her really says nothing about her but a heck of a lot about them - none of it good!

These people do nothing constructive, they just complain. Although I don’t know why they lumped in the agnostics in their group.
I used to be an agnostic, but now I’m not so sure.
There are nontheists (and agnostics) who take no visible umbrage at theistic practices. Public prayers, public crosses, famous saints, and the like don’t pick their pocket or break their leg, and they don’t think it worth the effort (if not perceive that it is downright counterproductive) to raise opposition.
And then there are the outspokenly insufferable snots.
Practioners of “Militant Atheism” I like to call “devout evangelical atheists.” They are more fervent in their godlessness than many Christians are in their faith.
And even among agnostics there are dogmatic agnostics who propound a belief that nobody could be theoretically positive that there is or isn’t a God, and then practical agnostics who aren’t themselves persuaded there is a God but don’t want to rule out the possibility that someone might practically know God.
Matthew 5:11 ~ Blessed are you when men revile you, and persecute you, and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so men persecuted the prophets who were before you.
And ultimately that is what really renders their dissension not just wrongheaded, but completely without class. Please, boast of the works of Agnostic Society To Aid The Poor if you got one, agnostics. (Its logo would be a giant question mark.) Otherwise leave the nun's legacy alone.
First, don’t these people have anything better to do?
Secondly, based on their belief, why do they care what other people do or say about religion? Seems like it would be such a waste of their limited time here.

Madelyn Murray O'Hare, the proclaimed atheist who got rid of school prayer, would set up a nativity scene at the base of her Christmas tree and while her children watched, she would stomp on the Baby Jesus.
If these Darty-yokels were true non-believers in God why would they express so much hatred for Him?
It seems to me it is a lot of work for someone who ya don't think really exists.
