Public figures usually go to Disneyland when they win.
Not Mitt Romney.
Just two weeks after losing the election, the once presidential hopeful visited the Happiest Place on Earth in Anaheim, according to reports on social media.
Suzi Brown, a Disneyland Resort spokeswoman, declined to confirm that Romney was at the parks. Disney has a policy against revealing visitors' identities.
Twitter users posted messages all day Tuesday about Romney sightings, sometimes with a political or humorous bent. One used the hashtag #TooDressedUpToHaveFun.
Mitt Romney is at Disneyland. I'd do the same thing after I lost the election to get over my depression, wrote TJ Gilmour, who goes by @TJGilmour on Twitter.
Romney, the Republican candidate, appeared to be with his grandchildren, possibly with a tour guide in Disney California Adventure, in pictures. One Twitter wrote that Romney waved hello. Another said he sat next to Romney.

Romney visits Disneyland; Obama runs Disneyland
The only difference between America and Disneyland is that the Disneybucks are actually worth something.
The communists in Barry’s state controlled “media” just won’t let it go. I didn’t know you were banned from Disneyland after losing the election for POTUS.
I thought his spur-of-the-moment concession speech was simultaneously fluent and uncommonly gracious. I don’t agree with all of his views, but think he’s a solid 2016 prospect. I’d love to see him square off against that oaf Christie.
I would be tired of crowds for a while if I were him, but to each their own.
If I didn’t know anything else about Romney, his relationship with his family would tell me plenty.
I have disagreed with him on political matters. I wound up voting for him. For the sake of the nation, I am sorry he lost to Obama.
I’m not going to be talking him down.
If anyone wants to start a talk McCain down thread, I’ll be right over. ;^)
They should have filmed one of those commercials.
“Mitt Romney, you just lost an election to the worst President since Jimmy Carter, what are you doing to do now?”
“I’M GOING TO DISNEYLAND!”
Great post. I haven’t heard of anyone who’s actually met the guy not speaking very positively of him as an individual. Dennis Miller made this point after campaigning with Mitt Romney for a few days: He’s nicer than nice. Maybe that’s why he lost.
Aren’t the WINNERS supposed to go to Disneyland. Sorry, but it shows that he’s still a little clueless about things. haha.
Unless he's running against other Republicans.
Well Romney being a conservative was a fantasy. Romney being a big fat liberal was true. Have fun living in your fantasy life.
“Hes nicer than nice. Maybe thats why he lost.”
After the first debate, his own internal polls showed him ahead, so he let up and went soft. Not a fan of the “prevent defense” either in sports or in politics.
While he is undoubtedly a bit of a RINO, I think he’s a decent person and would have been a welcome change.
Seriously doubt he will make another run for it...not if Ann Romney has any say. As for his concession speech he was just as gracious having lost to McCain several years back. This man has class!
Learned today that Romney actually increased GOP turnout from '08 (more votes than McCain).
Obama had 5% or so less.
I won't say Romney's done.
Yep. He lives in California. He has grandchildren. He has money to take them to Disneyland. It is a holiday week and maybe they are even out of school. Maybe he wants them to see it before it is totally taken over by the Queers.
Any way to express your opinion without being crude and insulting?
Did his own internal polls show him winning the day before the election? Not sure if anyone ever fleshed out the answer to this question. I ask because it appears that many polling entities were modeling the turnout incorrectly (assuming no fraud).
Romney’s political career ended on Nov 6, and he knows that too. He may be a political loser but certainly not one in life.
