....In the Benghazi story, we have four dead Americans. A lack of security that borders on criminal negligence. No apparent effort was made to save the lives of Messrs. Woods and Doherty, despite their pleas. The Obama administration, including the president, gave false and misleading accounts of what happened despite mounting evidence to the contrary. And the person who was wrongly accused of inciting the attacks by making a crude YouTube video is now in prison. Yet the press has, for the most part, treated this story with ambivalence and reluctance. A reliable barometer of the views of the elite media is Tom Friedman of the New York Times, who said on Meet the Press on Sunday, To me, Libya is not a scandal, its a tragedy.
Heres the thing, though. If the exact same incidents had occurred in the exact same order, and if it had happened during the watch of a conservative president, it would be a treated as a scandal. An epic one, in fact. The coverage, starting on September 12 and starting with Mr. Friedmans newspaper, would have been nonstop, ferociously negative, and the pressure put on the president and his administration would have been crushing. Jon Stewart, the moral conscience of an increasing number of journalists, wouldnt have let this story die.

Re: my earlier post. It goes without saying there was no attack based on what “Benghazi Attackers” watch on TV or YOUTUBE which makes the above claim all the more outrageous.

Good evening.
There will come a point when journalist will need Blackwater 24/7/365. Heck, Limbaugh and Beck are not journalist, and they need round the clock security.
Methinks we are getting close, very close to the first one of them who goes down.

Thanks to both of you. Is sad for our nation when people are left behind by the cic. Have great difficulty not being overwhelmed when realizing the cic zer0 still holds power over our Military Women and Men. He and democRATS hate our Military. Is probably only a matter of time before additional setups to harm and murder more of America's Military Personnel. Lord, and our drive-bys are congratulating themselves for getting zer0 reelected. No honor or love of country from the drive-bys. What a mess, and with nobody to clean up this mess, expect a greater mess.
