Letting Us Down: GOP Losing Susan Rice Debate
Breitbart ^ | 21 Nov 2012 | John Nolte

Posted on 11/21/2012 8:10:59 PM PST by chessplayer

For some reason, even after "binders," "birth control," and Big Bird actually did help Obama win a second term, the Republican Party is apparently still under the illusion that, just because the Left and the media launch a Narrative that's objectively false and nonsensical, we don't have to push back against it. But if those exit polls taught us anything, it's that we do. And a lack of pushback is why we're currently losing the Susan Rice debate.

While Republicans are off licking their wounds or just taking a break after an exhausting campaign, the Left and the media are not. And as a result, the GOP is currently getting its butt kicked all over the place.

Everywhere now, online, print media, and on cable nets like CNN and MSNBC, the false Narrative is flourishing that Republicans oppose Rice because she's black and a woman. The media doesn't care one whit that Republicans wholeheartedly backed Condi Rice (who is black and a woman) for Secretary of State, because this is about politics, not truth.

At his post-election news conference last week, Barack Obama vigorously defended Susan Rice, and now the media is following suit, because the media sees its job as to never-ever-ever allow this president to fail. The media also learned that false accusations of racism and sexism against Republicans helped win Obama a second term, so why not use that winning tactic to help Obama win everything?

Until Benghazi I had no clue who Susan Rice was/is.

Probably 99% of people (including libs) who pay close attention to politics, didn’t have a clue that she’s black. Not until the professional skin color peddlers started screeching about it.

The questions should be:

Who gave the order to our military to “stand down” and to NOT execute plans to rescue our Ambassador and our men, in Benghazi on 9-11-12?

“a lack of pushback is why we’re currently losing the Susan Rice debate.”

The repubes don’t “push back” on a DAMNED thing unless it’s THEIR ox being gored.

Change your affiliation to “INDEPENDENT”. The repubes just wanna have cocktail parties and receive their golden parachutes when their term is up.

“The Republican Party made an agreement 30 years ago with the Democrat Party NOT to ensure voting integrity and NOT to pursue suspected vote fraud.”

They’re no longer the party of thinking people. They’re whores.

How are you losing a debate when the alternative is Lurch? It's lose-lose, so in fact there's nothing to lose. I only want Lurch -- and regret that this aligns me with McCrisis and King -- because apparently Bobo does not.

If the GOP wants the next four years to be TEN TIMES WORSE than the last four years, they better NOT cave in on this one. The LEAST we can do for the FOUR DEAD AMERICANS in Benghazi is ensure JUSTICE BE DONE and the PATHOLOGICAL COVER-UPS, DECEPTION AND LIES OF THE 0BAMA REGIME BE STOPPED.

The article assumes the GOP cares. They are committing national malpractice. I doubt the GOP cares or even understands these issues.

I’ve been around idiot republicans. They are very dumbly proud to not be like those awful democrats. As a result, America is going to reap a whirlwind.

She may very well be a polished, deserving diplomat.

BUT, the fact that she went out there as a mouthpiece, like someone in the know and in charge; and now they say she had nothing to do with decisions/chain of command-—

It smells bad, it’s a cover-up and she is a willing participant.

American diplomacy should deal from strength, not from deceit.

Actually, I think the fact Republicans wholeheartedly backed Condi Rice is one of the reasons we're losing the Susan Rice debate. Condi Rice was CLEARLY in over his head as SOS and her policies were decidedly pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel, but a bunch of "conservatives" turned a blind eye to that because she was a black woman with an "R" next to her name.

0bama could reach into his binders of women and pull out Big Bird to be Secretary of State and the media wouldn’t care. They get their narratives from the regime and go with that 24/7. The GOP is pretty much defenseless at this point; it doesn’t matter what they say. It won’t be reported, it will be distorted. The party line has been set, comrade.

If a battle is an easy win with little thought, planning or leadership then the Rs will all line up including even the weakest RINOs in the most difficult states against O and hold firm.
But since they don't seem to have a clue on how to beat Dems they end up caving eventually.

Here is a great example on how Romney spend big $$$ money and volunteers time on another total F-UP.
Gripes of a GOP Grunt(or how I saw firsthand how the Romney campaign was a disaster)

Rice had no responsibility for those deaths. But she did promote on TV a big lie about it to get O re-elected.

It’s starting to look like the GOP couldn’t pour piss from a boot with the directions written on the heel.

Clapper may be the guy “taking one for the Team”. To protect his country a good Roman General would fall on his sword to protect the Empire.

Until whites stand up as whites we haven’t got a prayer. The left has been using race for decades to get what they want. They win because ultimately the right is spineless about it. They either disavow it, back away from it or try to ignore it. The Left will keep cramming it up our ass until we either push back or they push us off the cliff. It is starting to look like we are approaching the cliff.

I think you have forgotten that Condi Rice was extremely qualified for the position of Secretary of State when she was nominated. She was considered an expert on the Soviet Union and had served on the National Security team during President George H. W. Bush's administration. Although I do not remember her being anti-Israel at all, you must admit that 9-11 changed the entire focus of GWB's foreign policy from Europe to the Middle East. Susan Rice has been the ambassador to the UN, but Obama's lack of judgment in putting her out there to defend the indefensible with lies should automatically disqualify her. That it doesn't do so shows what an arogant SOB (excuse my French) Obama is and how little he deserved to be elected POTUS in the first place, much less re-elected to a second term.

Democrats take life seriously and advance their causes and interests.

Republicans don’t seem to really care about anything, except winning an occasional modification of a tax bill or something, which they gloat over and congratulate each other as though little house keeping victories every few years are changing anything enduring, as though time and destiny isn’t rolling over them as lost decades and lost generations slip away.

Clueless, wooden, bloodless, mediocre management people, not leaders, not crusaders, not evangelists, just crumb collecting, career, mid level corporate managers, the GOP has not changed since before I was born, how do you inspire people when you don’t even have a cause of your own, no belief, no passions.

When I heard that the democrats were saying that racist, sexist republicans didn’t want a “woman of color” named Rice to be Secretary of State, I thought it was satire. Am I the only person on the planet that remembers that Condi Rice was a female, black, republican and Secretary of State and MOST IRONICALLY, named RICE!!!!!??????

Much of this “tude” is being driven through the support of the media. Until it’s confronted, identified, and their existance threatened with fact and truth..Acceptance of their positions are not going to change. Boycotts are not the answer, confrontation is.

People who followed the Rwandan genocide in the 1990’s sure know who she is. She was the point person in Slick’s State Department who's incompetence or uncaring was responsible for our policy in regards to Rwanda at the time. She figured prominently in our inaction at the time.

Rice had no responsibility for the Benghazi deaths. But she did promote on TV a big lie about it to get O re-elected.

Rice was NOT needed as a political prop----in order to get O reelected. The sinister O Team had the election fixed way before Rice trotted out on talk TV with "Tales from Benghazi"--written by the WH Brothers Grimm.

Rice’s unblinking statements, puppeted on talk TV, are sum and substance of the Democrat COVERUP (orchestrated by the WH).

Using the Democrat’s Watergate Rules, if Rice made the statements knowing they were lies, that’s reason enough—under Dem’s own rules-—for a govt official to end up in prison.

YOO-HOO, REPUBLICANS The real issue is four dead Americans in Benghazi and WHY the US govt made no effort to help them.
