The Obama administration announced with little fanfare Thanksgiving eve plans to lock up nine million acres of land for the endangered Northern Spotted Owl.
The plan would double the amount of public forest lands proposed by the Bush administration for the owl’s habitat in Oregon, Washington and Northern California, and is expected to severely limit commercial activities like logging.
Rep. Doc Hastings (R-Wash.), chairman of the House Natural Resources Committee, said he is concerned the plan will cost taxpayers millions of dollars.
“Expanding the Northern Spotted Owl’s critical habitat will further endanger the timber industry, the thousands of jobs that the industry supports, and forest health,” Hastings said.
It seems that Lefties only believe in evolution has an historical concept.
Now that they are here, they think evolution should stop and everything stay exactly as it is.

This is what happens when the fascist state uses a fascist definition for the term species instead of a scientific definition. I bet multi-national forest industry corporations like Weyerhaeser paid a lot of money for this decision because it makes forest land they own or control worth a lot more money.
Within a few years the forest will become overgrown and a lighting strike will set off a massive forest fire and destroy the preserve and more.
Every time this happens the enviros are dumbstruck.
All land rightfully belongs to the United Nations. The fact that human beings are allowed to live on any of it is just an oversight that they are in the process of correcting.

This is Thanksgiving...be thankful for your free meals and free winter firewood.
Cut down a tree or two in protest and most definitely get one or more owls.

Northwesterners, over the decades, have amassed a gigantic pile of photographs of Spotted Owls ... nesting in barns, nesting in second growth timber, nesting in houses, pretty much everywhere but the habitat the "experts" say is required for them.
The experts, when presented with this evidence, scoffed and told the photographers that while they may have snapped a picture of a Spotted Owl, they know best. So all that evidence was thrown in the trash because, after all, normal people taking pictures of owls are not experts.
The Counties are filing suit on Monday for failure to adequately consider the implications to public health, safety and economic impact. (They have 60 days to file.)

I remember about a year and a half ago when someone (who may or may not be a co-worker of mine) came into the shop with a spotted owl stuck in the grill of his truck. We pondered what to do with it (with one idiot wanting to post pictures of it on Farcebook) and finally did just that - buried it.
He’s moving fast. Getting everything done he can before there is a chance something could happen to threaten the goals of his masters.

This is exactly what I told my family on Christmas Eve 2010. They thought I was crazy then and they still do. They all voted for Obama again instead of paying attention, or even bothering to ask me why I said that. It was a nice Thanksgiving without them.
It is because of the amount of land the male needs to have as his territory in order to mate. It’s not about food. I think if people knew this, they would burn the 9 million acres down in rage. One bird requires an obscene amount of territory in order to reproduce and everything must revolve around his pecker.
